-First five crits stacked into ignite contribute all damage for it
-The 5th and final stacked crit has its modifiers snap shotted
-Scorch, scorch, PI whisper, frostbolt, pop CDs, scorch/fireball spam
-Have all your mages spam scorch. Or take turns being the fireballer

Great video, thank you for the info. The portion about the 5th Ignite stack hypothetical 100% increase, was that just to highlight the importance of modifying SP for snapshotting, or is there some importance to the 5th stack specifically I didn't pick up? My understanding before this video was that each stack of Ignite matters in the final phatty rolling tick - but it seems like that's only if there were crits along the way in that less than 2sec window you mentioned

I guess the 5th stack matters because ideally you scorch-carry the 5th, I think I get it. Rewatched it, thanks

last stack has its modifiers applied to all the stacks. SP makes your crits bigger, but doesnt double dip like % modifiers,so its equally important in all stacks.
5th stack is most important for % modifiers because it double dips and reapplys itself to future ignite ticks.

I've thought it's the damage amplifiers of the first Ignite stack that is applied to the whole debuff, rather than the last.
How have you figured this out?
