I just got 3 Rosecraft knives including this one. They are all very good quality. Not a fan that they are made in a China. I buy a lot of USA made knives as well. Just wanted to see how these were in person and they are very solid knives.
Good review. I love RCB…exceptional value for the money. The sticker adhesive shadow will clean right off with alcohol or CLP. I prefer the sticker over “China” etched or stamped on the blade. They call that color Bourbon Bone. Good stuff, brother! 👊🏻
I’d much rather have the sticker than to see china on the tang every time I used it. Great move by Andy and Rosecraft. Going to hurt some feelings but these are one par with GEC 😂😂. I quit trying with GEC the market is ridiculous. Glad to see others coming in with quality stuff.
I had an actual Barlow when I was a kid. Wish I still had it. I remember you would see them at store counters for a few bucks. I also remember it was the first knife that I cut myself with!

I really couldn't see the shadow you were talking about. I bought a different model and removed the sticker. There was some kind of residue. In my experience if you take your index finger and smear it with facial oil and then rub it on the knife it removes any blemishes. I may have to buy this Barlow.
I just ordered a French Broad Jack from their 2nds sale for 30 ish dollars and I'm excited to see hoe it comes . from what I've seen its kind of like a lottery . some are great and its hard to find a flaw and some barely open . I plan on doing a video on it when it arrives either way so we will see . I am a fan of Andy Armstrong. Not all of his designs appeal to me but most do . great video man !
Hey I just bought a case knife dark red bone slanted bolster mint set 1 of 250 I can't find much about them it's from 2012 factory hand engraved 7 knife set comes in a case glass display anybody know much about them ?
I get that that might sound ridiculous... but it just really reminds me of cheap knives. To be clear, I don't think that a knife being made in China means it's cheap. China is making a lot of great knives, and this one is certainly well made. I'd much rather it say China on the blade.
I’ll never understand these people. I have one knife that I use to cut rope, fishing line, filet fish and field dress turkey and deer and everything else. Waste of money and truly pathetic.

I don't agree with you on the China stamp, believe the sticker is preferable for most people.

Their goal is to have the knives made in the U.S. so I think putting a China sticker on the knives has something to do with that.
No to the China on the steel. Leave that off. Sticker is fine. I'd rather not be reminded that it's from China.
