Tupac was exactly what Ice T described here. He used the environment that he was around, but not really a part of. And that’s what brought him down…. Dr Dre and Ice Cube grew up surrounded by these gangs and worked with them. But it was all business and they went home daily when the work was done.

People talk about how smart and brilliant Tupac was. That might be true he had a wealth of knowledge that he did not know how to process or apply and it showed in his daily actions in his life and the lifestyle that he chose the information was out there he chose to deny dismiss or discount what he saw would he read and what was told to him he did not would not refuse to process it and accept the outcome he was a flawed flawed individual his bad choices cause him his life just for some respect for people who really didn't care for him only saw him at the meal ticket which he knew that proof that he wasn't that bright with all that knowledge
The Pac-ettes are not going to like that comment. People that like and prop up Tupac are cut from the same cloth of people that see no wrong in R Kelly or Young Thug… Pac was more of a personality of the time than a great artist, poet, and actor that I’ve read about for the past 25 years. He was fortunate in a lot of ways, and put himself in every bad position that he wound up in. What was really sad is that he lived and died literally broke. The last two years of his life were spent building his image that he couldn’t even profit from because of the debt that he owed Death Row. Even Dr Dre left everything at that label to get away from that bad environment that was using his talent and taking his profits.
@@russelljohnson437 Pac was a grown ass man that mad horrible, damn near juvenile choices in his life and career. Rest In Paradise Pac😘
Pac became what he was surrounded by at Death Row & even more. Loved to witnessed what he may have become after leaving the Row & how he would have matured & changed up some of his persona.
Tupac was exactly what Ice T described here. He used the environment that he was around, but not really a part of. And that’s what brought him down…. Dr Dre and Ice Cube grew up surrounded by these gangs and worked with them. But it was all business and they went home daily when the work was done.
@@caipirinha_king1632Ice Cube finished High School and got a 2 year degree from a Technical Institute. He doesn't come from a Broken 🏡 Home or an extremely troubled background. Ice Cube has a history of underpaying, if paying at all people that have worked for him on Music & Movies. Dre has a long history of viciously beating every woman he's dated, an absentee father to many miscellaneous children he has scattered everywhere, as well as numerous run ins with Police on various other charges. These guys are far from Sainthood and have no moral ground to stand on giving anybody advice about their behavior.
@@kelvinbentley2777
No dispute here. I watched both in real time like many others.
My statement had nothing to do with morality. It has everything to do with knowing who you’re surrounded by, and knowing when to remove yourself from that environment or at least a few people that could either cost you jail time or your life.
@@caipirinha_king1632 You're very insightful, my comments weren't directed at you, but to so many others that are always scrutinizing every aspect of Pac's life without considering the severe set of circumstances that he lived under. A little known fact is that Pac first called T-Moe from (Goodie Mob & Outkast) in Atlanta to see if any of them could get him out of jail. Jada Pinkett & Jasmine Guy attempted to raise some money to pay for an appeal bond. When all else failed, he reached out to Suge Knight and we already know how that ended. They say whenever you're at your lowest point in life, " THE DEVIL " appears and begins to offer all the desires of your heart.

@@coache1nine I appreciate the response, you seem sincere. Tupac did the exact same thing Ice-T did, he was Gang Affiliated for most of his career while never claiming a set.Big Syke, Rated R, Macadoshis, & Monster Kody were all Crips. Bone, Buntry, Heron, & Timmy Ru were Bloods, but all were still his friends. You should listen to that recorded phone conversation from prison between Monster Kody & 2Pac, if you haven't already heard it. It'll give you alittle insight on what Pac's Political Plan was with those Gangs. And that interview he did from Clinton Correctional Facility before he bailed out.
@@kelvinbentley2777 the difference is Ice knew those dudes for years and understood the LA gang culture. Pac was not from LA and didn't truly understand how LA gangs move. Craziest thing is the Inglewood Crips didn’t want Pac to be from the set. They told him about the death row dudes. They had his best interest at heart tho
He’s right about the gang culture it’s best to steer clear of the danger….nothing good comes out of it and there’s no future except death or prison….yet for some reason (and inspite of the obvious consequences)young people are still find the gangster life enticing, and are willing to commit murder or even die for the (so-called) clout it brings..
You said that so COOL , your right! OGs' knows better ! WHEN an OG talks, best be listening!! ❤
I think that Ice-T was always a good person who lived that life but lived to be blessed to give good advice in what and what not to do with the gang lifestyle to help people not to get lost in the hype

Ice T is the perfect example of a hip hop mentor.
@@caipirinha_king1632 lol this is a stretch. Pac was a flawed individual who made some mistakes and needed a little more guidance throughout life
@@russelljohnson437
Pac was a grown ass man that mad horrible, damn near juvenile choices in his life and career.
This reminds me of how Larry Brown used to always call Allen Iverson “the kid” when people would be roasting him for always just getting caught up in situations that he should’ve outgrown before he left college.
As far as rap go, he was mediocre at best. He was relevant off of his two fans. His hard headed fans. And his single mother fans. Both he wrote lyrics for that they related to. He may or may not have grown into what people are today claiming that he was.
People grab a few videos of Pac talking intelligently and they act as he made prophetic and profound statements. NOPE! You just DONT READ and haven't been exposed to what he said. He didn't move with wisdom. He moved IMPULSIVELY. PEOPLE CELEBRATE it and say PAC WAS REAL. How'd that work out.
