Well Norm, I FINALLY have made it thru both Osaka videos! Loved the am one but the pm even more i think.
p.s. thank you for being aware of the flashy stuff and pointing camera away when it was possible. Really appreciate it. 💜

BTW I think you should head to Hiroshima for the okonomiyaki or Kagoshima for the crazy cat lady! Some nice boating to be done down south.

Love the Osaka streams Norm! Sad I didn't make them live. If you want some good areas there to explore, lmk. Osaka is my jam.

You should hit up Hakata in Kyushu when you get a chance. It's a really awesome city.

I was just here over 2 weeks ago! Loved Osaka so much! Shinsekai, Denden Town, and the Tempozan Ferris Wheel were my fave spots!

Sorry I couldn’t watch it live Norm, but was lucky enough to watch the morning livestream live, I would really like to see Hiroshima especially the peace park area. Loving the content as always 😄

I second this! Maybe also a livestream from Hiroshima to Miyajima island? You can do a QnA on the boat ride there and/or back and then show the temple area and 'ultra friendly' deer.

Late Happy New Year! Osaka at night looks amazing. Hopefully our version of the Spanish flu ends soon, I’ve always wanted to visit Japan, and as a single Mom of a 15 1/2 year old, once he starts collage (🤞🏻), I REALLY want to visit Japan, and your beautiful videos have only pushed that interest to 11!😺

My favorite moment so far is your background info on what you went to school for. I briefly took a coding class and the pace was too fast for me. I decided I'll keep it as a personal hobby, especially once the professor told us we didn't technically need the degree if we just proved we're capable lol. And it's interesting to hear there was a time in your life when you weren't comfortable with a camera! You're most certainly a pro now lol

Osaka cabs are like an amusement park ride sometimes. I can't believe I used to drive in that mess.
Also, those are exactly the backstreets I hoped you'd go see.
Nagoya is more interesting during the day than you'd think, Kanazawa is nice. I'm not sure how far the shinkansen goes but I'm one of the early Fukui fans. Oh, and if you can make it out to Sado Island somehow, that would be super cool.

Couldn't catch this one live, but watching the VOD now! Spent 24 hours in Osaka in 2018 and almost all of it was disrupted by a Typhoon, so can't wait to go back some day. Thanks for helping me explore the city from my sofa. :)

Seigantoji, in Nachikatsuura. The three story pagoda there is perhaps one of the most memorable in Japan, and the view of the falls is second to none. It's certainly a perfect photo opportunity.

Thank you for the walk around Osaka! I was in Japan back in 2017 and during the final couple of days we stayed in Osaka. We were able to do 'Cycle Osaka' (which I recommend that and Cycle Kyoto to anyone visiting Japan) but unfortunately came down with a cold and didn't have the energy to explore more of Osaka at night. This walk helped fill that void till next visit. My next suggestion for the next walk through would be Hiroshima/Miyajima.

Hey Norm, you would do me a real favor if you could film a flock ? a mass ? don't know how you call ist, a giant mass of turtles. as I was in Japan, there were rivers or ponds just full of them. So many that you ask yourself what the hell are they doing there, there are more turtles than space ...never seen something like than anywhere else. Would love to see this guys again :D ...

I watched a japanese drama about 7 years ago, i got to episode 3 and couldnt understand why i could understand so little of the japanese. i was sad and thought i'd forgotten what i'd learned...then realised it was the osaka dialect 😂 after that it started to make more sence! Oops
