yes! I cringe every time someone says it like it rhymes with buckle. Doo-clay is correct!

Ok, I want to buy like 20 of them and only have these little guys running around, am I crazy?! They are so cute! With 20 of them I’ll have enough eggs 🤣

Back in the 30's my father-in-law had a Bantam Chicken business on the mill hill. Apparently, the eggs were desirable at the time and the meat makes smaller meals. He also said that they had a better taste.

I have heard about the taste. Americans have gotten so far from normal portion sizes. Including me. I don't wanna eat my little cuties. Lol.

I have 3 and i adore them. One used to hop up on my arm and sit an watch tv with me or take a nap. He would refuse to sit on a towel but insisted on my hand or arm. Now that theyre in the coop he wont have anything to do with me.
How big are the eggs? I found one yesterday almost half the size of the other egg i just started getting.

I don't have any hens. So I haven't personally dealt with duccle eggs. But my silkie eggs are roughly half the size of a large egg.

I have a duccle rooster and I paired him with two black game fowl. Hope it works out. They seem happy together so far

I have one Mille Fleur rooster named Jeffrey. He has a great temperament and does well with the other breeds in the flock. He’s not as aggressive as the larger Rhode Island or Cochin roosters and he’ll allow our small children to handle him. But he’s a beautiful bird, I would recommend anyone to have at least one in their flock. 🐓

My Mille bantam boy bit me. I thought it was an accident beca7se I was right by his lady. BUT he tried flogging my hand TWICE lol.

@@carriehollister2543 lol. When my hens make protestations to me handling them the only roosters that come to save them are my bantams. Lol thought lil blokes.

My bantam eggs are very tasty. More tasty than the big eggs.
People eat quail and they are larger than quail. I have black old english with bright red tops.

You make some good points!!! Maybe I will practice cracking the eggs if I have some females. But I hope not to have to eat my little birds them selves!!! Lol. Old English eh?? Ima look them up!!
