First review of redmi watch 4 wearing on right hand. I am about to buy one. It is really a powerful smartwatch from xiaomi with large screen and long last battery.
I just bought the watch and overall it's pretty good, especially for the price. That being said, it has a glaring flaw in that water activates the screen and there's no way to override it in the settings. The watch goes crazy in the shower or when I wash my hands, nevermind swimming. The screen just cycles and cycles through menus like I'm pushing random buttons. I wish they'd push an update to deal with this bizarre shortcoming.
I have AOD, wake to raise, notifications on and it takes around 4 to 6 days before I have to charge it again. Battery is astonishing. The only gripe I have is not being able to reply with messages. But the OS and UI feel is great, its smoother than my galaxy watch 5 (GW5 has more apps and features though so thats the reason)
I want to ask i dont receive notifications when someone send me a message on messenger or instagram but i can see when someone call me on messenger you have the same issue all iphone users ? if not how can i fix it ? i am trying 2 days now to fix it with no luck !

It says I've done 500 steps and I see it rising when I'm sitting down. Heart monitoring is not true live it's refresh basis unless your in a workout mode. I'm not sure. It's still new so lots of updates will come I guess

May be a silly question but it's better to make sure. Can you customize the watch faces with the pictures of your gallery?

Yes you can but right now there's 5 formats only, you can put 8 picture in each one
Is there an option to switch to 12 hour clock and eliminate that zero in front for AM time?

As well as sleep tracking is awesome. It also tracks my naps throughout the day.
Feel of the crown and haptic feedback is superb when scrolling.
Does it record Heart Rate when working out
on Swimming Mode?
Band 8 doesn't but maybe cause it has an all brand new designed sensor it does MAYBE THOUGH😅
