Having completed with two friends 1000+ miles in 22hrs from Yorkshire to the top of Scotland and back (and being allowed on motorways) I can confirm what these lads did is big challenge. And our bikes weren’t crap! Well done all for raising funds for a great cause! My neck & shoulders felt 100% ruined after ours
Dave was in the movie 'Closer to the Edge' , the older TT documentary with Guy Martin and the boys... didn't realize he's been racing the TT for so long! that's awesome lol😊
Well done Dave for making it on the dullest of all motorcycles but with dullness comes legendary Honda reliability! The Chinese beam was an amazing addition! Donation made to a fantastic cause.
Hit the nail on the head Dave. That feeling of being at one with your machine - usually many hours into a ride - cannot be replicated in a car. Even on a crap bike it's a great feeling 😂. Well done! Great effort by you, the other nutters and organisers/logistics crew 👏👍. Right, I'm putting my name down for the next one - my MZ301 Luxus will be just the job. Someone needs to have a go on a stinkwheel! 😂
Well done Dave, that is an epic video and great experience. I have done it twice in 2019 on an fzr1000 and last on that bmw r1200 that I crashed 30 miles from the finish then got back got to the finish and found I had broken my collar bone and ankle. If I do it again it will be on a smaller cc bike.
What an incredible achievement Dave⭐️ Congratulations to you for your commitment & hard work. A great cause you availed yourself & fixing the crap bike! Thank you for your support!💪💪
Great job Dave! A great sense of achievement by the end I would imagine. It must have helped keep you awake having the stag danger in the dark! I lived in Canada for a while and there was a similar danger with Moose on a long stretch of road between two cities, every year there would be 1 or 2 fatal car crashes what with moose being so big.
Great effort by all raising so much money, enjoyed the video, thanks for taking the time for a chat at the signpost at Groats after being on the road for so long, was great to meet you, maybe see you at Oliver’s Mount or back up here again next year should you do the challenge again 😮 Best Wishes John
Great job Dave. We all know too many friends and/or families that have suffered to the dreaded C, well done and cheers Dave, the most interesting biker on youtube?
Just seen your vid on the ride, well done to all!! A worthy cause indeed. Im in no way fit enough to do a ride like that now,i do support cruk in their shops etc. 👍❤️
Well done Dave great effort, but as they say “you meet the nicest people on a Honda”Well done little Honda , video coming up of how to fix second gear?
Well done Dave , top effort an to all who did ride . If will all do something in life like u have we can beat cancer an save lives . Ur a top man Dave 👍
A fantastic achievement Dave for yourself and everyone involved. Hope you're now fully recovered. Two questions: 1)did you ride the Deauville back home from John O'Groats 2)what are you going to do with it? All the best.
Bloody brilliant effort Dave! I must say your presentation style is absolutely great to watch, love your videos. Funny, interesting and engaging. If I wasn't so far away in Australia I'd offer to buy your bike, if only for the purpose of lobbing it down a mineshaft... Still, any day out on a bike is a good one! Carry on. 😊
Dave your a bloody star and ive enjoyed this video. Ihave donated because you have inspired me to. Proud of you your efforts along with the other nutters 😁😁😁
Brilliant well done Dave and to everyone who took part bikers are generous folk and its part of being one that makes em want to help people they don't even know. 😉👍😊
Great video dave and well done on the challenge. Shame to see that Honda are plucking your rider in BSB. Great for Franco man, Bit of a shame for you boys, good luck at snett......
Amazing, well done , I took weeks for it all to sink in with me, memories of the trip kept coming back, and wow you all did amazing on the fund raising side. Don’t forget to tell Bostie all about it, he loves loves when I tell him about it every time I see him 😂😂, hope the rude home from jog was ok.
Great work mate! I'm not sure that I fully understand the format! I would have thought that the $600 would have been better given to the charity not wasted on an old shit-box! Something along the lines of 'Bring your own bike and donate $10 for every $1000 that your bike is worth' A secondary upside would be that you could call your selves the 'One Percenters' and properly take the piss out of the outlaw bikers! 🙂
Hi Dave firstly huge congratulations on your challenge, I doff my cap to you sir. I actually only came across this challenge in the just around two weeks ago and I've been watching every video I can find, however I can't find any details about 2024 and how I could take part would you mind pointing me in the right direction
Dave, you are heinously disrespecting both the Honda AND the French ! - The Honda's name is pronounced 'DOH-VILLE' (think Homer Simpson..) not De-ville.. Despite the international-incident you've undoubtedly provoked with your 'faux-pas' (like what I did with the French there ?..) I've made the richly deserved donation that you have hard-earned with your stiff neck (and sore bottom..)
Thank you Dave for for your amazing effort and for supporting this most worthy cause. Thank you for your utterly wonderful TH-cam films…tremendous .
Well said!
Congratulations Dave, you’re a star along with everyone involved.

jOLLY WELL DONE!
😁 "most legal..." , 🇳🇱 netherland have no TÜV but nice trailers
why isn't a trailer made moped at the start ?
Well done for raising cash but for fucks sake lads. It's as if the effects of tiredness hadn't been documented quite enough.
It was very heavily explained in the briefing, if you felt too tired to stop and rest.
@@obsession_engineering Phew! that's ok then, I always trust human beings to be sensible like that.
