I’m sharing 4 tips for selling more albums starting with ways to showcase your albums, get your clients used to the idea of buying one, and easy steps you can take to make your sales go way up! The first tip is to add images and videos of your albums to your portfolio so that your clients begin to see examples of wedding albums from the very start before they even contact you.

Do you currently offer albums to your clients?
I do offer albums. I am still in my first year of business. This makes it difficult to order sample albums, as well as additional albums to display cover choices, as there are a lot of initial costs that you may not make a return on within your first year.

Hi Joy! This was super helpful, but for someone who doesn't even offer albums at all right now, I would love some tips on how to get started, how to find a lab, how to decide what types of albums to offer, how to design them, etc. :)
Great question! I would try to get your hands on a few different samples. Read up on some different companies so you can find one that works well for you. KISS books, millers, WHCC are just a few that are great companies. If you make accounts with them and order samples they will come at a discount. Some will send swatches of fabrics for free as well. The albums you offer will depend on the types of weddings and clients you work with. I run a romantic and elegant fine art photography business so my brides tend to love the classics - so I offer leather and linen albums. What kinds of clients do you have?

How would you reel them in to purchase an album and making them feel like they are getting the best of the best package or even some sort of a courtesy discount? Would you create the video and send to them? Talking about the album and then at the end have an exclusive offer? I will definitely be adding a top tier package that includes an album!!!
