I don’t do macro but I love your shots so I had to watch your video and say hello Emilie ❤️. I hope your workshop is a huge success! Cheers from Texas.
Nice review of a useful product. I use a similar item on my macro lenses for even more magnification. Neewer sure is going after the photo market. I've several of their products. Glad you acknowledged the syrphid (hover fly) that wanted screen time 😉
I use the Raynox 250 macro lens, it's quite similar to the Neewer macro lens. Great review and sharing. A big LIKE to your video. Greetings from Singapore.
I use the 46mm LensBaby macro kit (filter/lenses) on my Oly 60mm and they work extremely well. There is a +1, +2, and +4 which can be added together. I also use the Mcoplus extension tubes for mft, 10mm and 16mm. Can be used together and is a cheaper alternative (Amazon). The extension tubes also work on the Oly 90mm. I also have a 77mm NISI close-up lens, which I’m sorry I bought. It’s more for telephoto’s and attaches to the front end of the lens, making it top heavy. Have bought Neewer filters, long ago, including close-up, but found the above far better. These new ones seem much better. Thanks for the video, Emilie!
I have the 90mm macro but still have and use my 60mm macro with Raynox 250 and extension rings so doubt I would buy the Neweer although all products I have bought from this company have been ok. Useful clip Emilie. I am currently working on butterflies taking off using SH2 and SH1 ProCapture and very Slow Motion using G9m2 at 240fps. Never a dull moment 😏😉😊. All great fun and enjoyment 📷🎥😊😊
Hi Émilie, I prefer olympus close-up MCON-P2 wich is much smaller and lighter and works stellar with 14-42 kit, 45.1.8, 75 1.8.... Included 46/37 stepring.
How does this compare to something like a Canon 250D close-up lens that screws onto the filter threads? I don't have a macro lens for my m4/3, and I sometimes use the 150mm zoom to kind of "fake it" and I have been considering an adapter like this. Thanks for your videos about macro photography and gear. It's given me a new reason to explore the gorgeous parks here in New England as spring becomes summer and little things are so active.
I unfortunately not familiar with the Canon 250D close up so I can't give you a recommendation. You could heck if Hunt's sell those and try them out. Might be the easiest solution. Have fun exploring the NE parks. So much going on right now!
How does this compare to the popular Raynox adapter? Is it the same or similar multiplication factor? Will it clip onto the Raynox holder on your AK diffuser? Thanks for your review!
I do not like those Neewer products. I would rather have a used Lens, no matter if it is a Macro Lenses born with the right mount or if it is older analog Macro Lenses which need adapters. A Macro Lens need to perform superb with optical image quality and it also need to be very rugged, because it is often a macro Lenses that takes the most beating out in the field.
That is exactly why I was impressed with the NEEWER LS 40, great quality, performed well with the 60mm and it took a beating and still works. I think for a lot of people this will be a good solution.
@@EmilieT First of all, I do not trust chinese products, second, all the reviews I have seen from trusted reviewers do not have good reviews of that Lens !

Great advise … I got one and it’s great ! Thankyou
Glad it helped
4:21 you could use a step up/step down filter adapter for extra safe connection to the lens.
Yes. I should have mentioned this and I do have one. Thank you for pointing this out.
Qu’est ce que c’est cet adaptateur ?

Ahah yes I tried my best for 1 sec to keep the video going but...too much temptation.
Great review! This might be my first step into macro! Oh, and loving the vlogs!
Thank you!

Interesting. Does it allow you to shoot further from the subject, to back up a bit? Or do you have to move even closer?
have to be closer

Ah great question! I need to plan something!
Compared to the Raynox 250?
What magnification if attached to the 60mm macro?
The 60mm is a 1:1
