Major plot hole in the first episode. Throughout the series, Penny has talked multiple times about wanting to have kids with Leonard, even in the last couple of seasons. I've often wondered if since it was established very clearly that Bernadette did not want to have kids, but her actress, Melissa, got pregnant twice in the last couple of seasons, if the writers just randomly moved the no children plot over to Penny, despite it being known that Penny wanted kids with Leonard. The whole thing felt very out of character for Penny. On a side note, in real life, anyone thinking about getting married should have the 'do we want kids' conversation *BEFORE* getting married.
I don't think that's a plot hole. People do change their minds about these stuff. I also wanted kids before, but now I don't. It happens. And it's obvious that Penny was having second thoughts. It's not like she claimed that she never wanted to have kids from the very beginning.
Well that’s unfair on the other person (in this case Leonard) if you go into a commitment like marriage with an understanding of having kids and then change your mind. What the hell is the other person supposed to do? Also this was a stupid plot to begin with since in the very first episode Leonard said ‘Our babies will be smart and beautiful’ after first laying his eyes on Penny. So SPOILER ALERT FOR OLEYSSA…it had to come full circle.
People can change their minds about kids. I thought I want kids when I was younger because this was normal in my mind, when I got older I realized I dislike most children and I don't want any, despite it being not normal in most people eyes.
I really dislike this trope in a lot of sitcoms where they present this idea that being a supportive friend means you must never question anything your friends do or give them constructive criticism. Being supportive doesn't mean you should enable your friends' pathological, toxic, or self-destructive behaviours. Also, the whole subplot with everyone bugging Penny for not wanting to have children was pretty messed up. It was a very weird episode.

This season ran concurrently with season 2 of Young Sheldon. They made Tam as a character in Young Sheldon bc even tho Sheldon always said he didn't have friends growing up, it wouldnt be a very interesting show with no friends. So then TBBT had to explain why Sheldon never would've mentioned Tam throughout the whole show.
In real life, the guy who plays Raj is married to a former Miss India! And the women who plays Penny had a daughter, Madeline, about eighteen months ago. (I love that she picked a classic, traditional name instead of a goofy celebrity name.)
I agree with you, penny and Bernadette as time goes on become just annoying and downright bad human beings, who constantly mistreat people around them...

I have to admit, I'm not really sure what the friend protocol should be with ole Raj here. It's reasonable to be concerned about your friend marrying someone that they just met, but I'm aware that arranged marriages are a thing. Not really sure how I'd handle that one.
1:39 Why? As long as he's happy in that apartment, he can get old, retire, and die there, and I don't see the problem. Besides, this is one of the reasons money isn't a huge deal to him (like I said on the last video)... because he isn't spending a lot of it. The apartment he's living in now is small enough that Penny could afford it even during the first 7 years when she was practically broke, and he's splitting the rent with Amy so he's not spending a lot of money. This is why he can afford to buy all that expensive stuff at the comic book store for whatever price Stuart charges, or why he can eat takeout dinners every night, or why he had no problem giving so much money to that helium dealer, or why he was fine with lending money to Penny and not caring when he gets it back. He keeps his living expenses as small as possible, so he has plenty of money for other things. If he bought a house, that'd probably cost him more money. I'm sure they could afford it but they might have to cut back on takeout meals and expensive comic book store props and he doesn't want to do that. And another thing? Houses have yards, so he'd have to mow the lawn and do yard work and he doesn't want to do that. And with a bigger house, that means more cleaning (more rooms to clean and all that). A small apartment means less housework. Plus, then he wouldn't live across the hall from Leonard and Penny and I think he likes that. As long as he's happy living in the apartment, he should stay there. 1:46 Her "Shoot hoops" argument is a little off base. Not everybody who lives in a house has a basketball net on their driveway. I grew up in a house and we never had one of those things. Our next door neighbor did and my sister's best friend did, but most of the houses in my neighborhood didn't have one of those things. It's not a requirement for living in a house in America. But her "Mow the lawn" point? I actually agree with Penny on that one, for once. He would have to do that and I don't think he'd want to. 1:52 Yup, I will also say "Same question." But on the other hand, since Howard was the one who asked it, I could turn it around and ask him and Bernadette "How are YOU 2 married?" Their marriage is less bad that Leonard-Penny but I'd rather be single than be married to Bernadette or Howard. Sheldon-Amy is the only good marriage on the show if you ask me, though Stuart-Denise are a good couple that might get married. 2:50 Yeah! Yeah, see this is one of the reasons why I like Denise so much. She was able to see past that. She may have made fun of him a lot, but she stayed with him in spite of it. And they ended up having a great time. A lot of women would have dumped him for that, and they would have missed out on a great night and a great guy. 3:03 Yeah. Big mistake on Stuart's part that will be addressed later in the season. 7:03 I'm with you. They don't know as much as they think they do. They were gifted the house because Howard's mom died and his dad didn't live there anymore so he signed it over to them, and their friends don't get that kind of luck. They're not very happy together and I've never felt that they were. Both of their kids were accidents. Neither of them seem content to stick with the plan they originally had (back in season 5 when they first talked about kids, the plan was for Howard to stay home and take care of them while Bernadette works. But in many subsequent episodes, Bernadette doesn't want to work if it means being away from her kids for 8 hours). Stuart and Raj take more care of Howard's kids than Howard does, or so it seems. So, their friends don't see them as models of what they want to be, nor should they. 7:13 You are 100% correct, Olesya. 8:36 Yes, because Sheldon keeps in touch with Leonard's mom (because they platonically really like each other because they're similar people) and Leonard doesn't (because he hates her) so she informs Sheldon, but not Leonard, about the new stuff that goes on in her family. This was established in the Christmas episode in season 3. 8:49 To be fair, even though Howard is SUPPOSED to be Raj's best friend, Howard isn't much of a friend. That was established when they briefly ended their friendship and Raj's life suddenly got better. So, you can't blame Raj for not believing that Howard is looking after him, when Howard hasn't exactly done a good job of that in their 15+ years of friendship. 9:23 Yeah, gossip spreads fast in this friendship group. That was established back in "The Herb Garden Germination." I suppose it's easy to overlook the ongoing plot point of that episode and just remember the big event of that episode (Howard proposed and Bernadette said yes), but aside from that, the plot of that episode was Sheldon and Amy learning about gossip, and they learned that it spreads lightning fast in this group. 12:38 Yeah, that's probably why she didn't buy it. But she does make good money at her job now, good enough to rent it. 13:17 LOL! You and Amy asked that question at almost the same time. I think you got in there a little before she did, but close enough. 13:52 Well, he didn't mention the talking koala, but Sheldon did mention that he REALLY likes koalas in "The Shiny Trinket Maneuver" (the episode where he buys the tiara for Amy). So, it's not a huge surprise that he'd have a talking koala imaginary friend. 14:14 I think you're absolutely right. 16:28 Well, she's a high-up manager at the a big hotel. So, she has a fancy career and title. I think that's how she can get into these places. 17:36 Yup. This is one of the rare times I can't side with Sheldon. 18:25 Yeah. I think that deep down, they both know that they are NOT in happy marriages. But they don't want to admit that to anyone. I didn't like the first episode. It was weird seeing Penny be the voice of reason for once. If she doesn't want to have kids, that fine. Leonard should have talked to her about this before he proposed to her. He was terrible in this episode and he was worse when he called her father. Penny's father should back off. Being her father does not in any way give him a say in whether or not she has kids. Bernadette and Amy should back off because it's none of their business. I rarely get mad at Amy, but her rant against Penny in this episode did not amuse me at all. On the bright side, I like Anu. She has beauty and brains and she's nice. Here's the thing with the 2nd episode: the 12 season of The Big Bang Theory aired a year after the first season of Young Sheldon did. So at the time, most fans of The Big Bang Theory already knew who Tam was. If you watch all the episodes of The Big Bang Theory before watching an episode of Young Sheldon, you'll be confused about who Tam is (but by now, you've probably figured out that he's a semi-regular character on Young Sheldon). On the flip side, this means that when he's introduced on Young Sheldon, you'll be ahead of where everyone else was when he was introduced there. It will be interesting to see your reaction when we get to the episode of Young Sheldon where he's introduced. Anyway, the 2nd episode is one of the few episodes of season 12 that I like, because they showed us a character that appeared in several episodes of Young Sheldon and we learned why we'd never heard of him in the first 11 seasons of The Big Bang Theory. They give us closure there. I also liked them showing classic scenes from old episodes with Tam instead of Leonard. I didn't like Penny and Bernadette telling Anu stuff about Raj, but this didn't end their relationship so it's okay. Another fun fact about the 2nd episode: it's the last time we ever see Georgie (I won't drop the "I" from his name because there's far more episodes of other shows where he's referred to as Georgie, and because the "I" is how we distinguish between him and his father who is named "George" without the "I").

Ah the Tam episode, a character in Young Sheldon. Even early seasons. Sheldon and change yet he lives not in Texas so he changed for education but not for other people. Ah Bernadette and trying to find out things again. Ah Tam in the picture in a what if is great. XD Having different deodorants is fine some scents are too strong. Ah people and what's marketable they really are stupid, toys sure, but oh a scent, some people take things to seriously of what's intended for them, idiots. I thought the same about a different hoodie and then went it's not that bad. In terms of other core clothes sure it'd be cross-dressing which if not intending to, but for a hoodie and the size/design differences it's not that bad. Ah Amy and weird possibilities for things. Fair episodes. She is very confident and has a fair few ideas for things. Knowing then just forced into it then learning over time. The status is overrated though, genuine or status. The randomisation or close enough of they fix them up. For money or status hmm, closeness I'd they did choose right hmm. They are desperate for gossip because bored in their lives or drama. Sigh. They do that. Some people just don't make connections at all. I'm not here for the drama/gossip but the jokes/writing and the characters not being annoying but other audience viewers would or else we wouldn't have 12 seasons and S8+ getting particular of decent to bad. It's not even them getting older/trying to have whatever jokes based on whatever family matters as many family sitcoms are funny with parent or child/teen characters perspectives then just the older only in this case of young adult to adult with other things to conaider the BBT does or Friends or others it's just the tone and other aspects changed in ways that seem a bit odd.

@@Nikki-oe7gr I agree, thank you for understanding both sides. they both deserve to get heard. but like I said, if you don't want kids it is something you should mention, but if you do its something that is given something that maybe you don't even want to talk about. but ofc every couple is different. some couples plan for it, and some don't
1:51 great question Howard. It involves several failed proposals, breakups, tons of toxicity and twisting each others words. Leonard has nothing in common with penny. He just married his crush purely for her looks. I hope I didn’t start a war
What a great episode
Wow another surprise Big Bang Reaction on a Thursday. Curious to know if it the reaction videos will be Wed-Fri for the next 3 weeks.

Ah the Tam episode, a character in Young Sheldon. Even early seasons. Sheldon and change yet he lives not in Texas so he changed for education but not for other people.
Ah Bernadette and trying to find out things again.
Ah Tam in the picture in a what if is great. XD
Having different deodorants is fine some scents are too strong.
I love Anu ❤
was kommt danach ?
I love your channel
@@sebskyYyy did you escape your country like a coward, or are you still there? :)
Amy, why the heck would you want to….exchange breastfeeding recipients with Penny?! Let alone dream that?!😄
Amy has some sort of weird obsession with Penny that's hard to understand
Oh i forgot Tam was in the big bang theoty
The last season is for me, the best
