Miami To Exuma Bahamas on Sea-Doos Part VI: Island Explorers

- Explored the Exuma islands from Norman's Cay down to Staniel Cay. Total distance for the day was roughly 40 miles. We stopped half way at Warderick Wells to refuel on the beach. Warderick Wells is the headquarters of the Exuma Land and Sea Park. From there were continued south and discovered a nice beach at what turned out to be Johnny Depp's private island "Little Halls Pond". Continuing further south, our final stop before Staniel was at Thunderball Grotto. The cave is named after the James Bond movie "Thunderball" which had scenes filmed there. It was also used in the movies Splash and Into The Blue. The water currents through the cave are insane and swimming out of the cave was extremely difficult, especially while carrying gear. After leaving Thunderball we checked in at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club, explored the island, and got some rest.

You guys rock! Grew up riding Seadoos up here in MN, bought a Mastercraft, and now we play around with stand-ups between ski runs; however jetsking in Exuma would be a dream come true. Enjoying life to it's fullest!!

Love it! I'm from the Bahamas and I'm always amazed at the beautiful scenery and wonderful experiences others have when they visit my home. Never been to Staniel Cay myself but this vid is definitely motivating me to visit ASAP. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed.
I noticed allot of red gas tanks all over the place. Also saw the GPS units on the ski's, very cool! Don't seem like to many people would just head out across the pond on a sit down. I'm glad you did cause these series of vids are really awesome! Nicely done!

Great video also love the slo motion before the jump into the hole and love the zoom of the chart on several scenes. I only use iMovie so far. Still learning it before I get FCP. Thanks keep up the inspirations. Tooth Ferry

haha thanks. Hate to admit that we stole that from Into the Blue, one of our favorite movies. They shots scenes at Thunderball and Paul Walker swam in this same shot. If you haven't seen the movie check it out, lots of gorgeous Bahamian backdrops.

Assuming Bahamian Law has not changed it would still be based on English Law which says that all land up to the highest high tide mark (which with hurricanes could be really high!) belongs to the crown (or in this case the Commonwealth of the Bahamas) therefore any citizen of the Bahamas or in fact visitor to the islands can walk along the beach so you were not breaking any law. If they leave their loungers below the high tide mark they would be fair game! (to sit on that is)
