2:04 The English language took the word "the" straight from the Hebrew language. "The" is a contraction of "et he". People say that "et" isn't translated but in fact it is built into "the". I know why this isn't talked about but I don't want to say. But I will say that English is the language of international business for a very good reason.
What is your understanding of Genesis 19:24 the me-et could you tell me if there is a direct object marker? or does it simply mean With-From, does the Me-Et simply mean that "Yehovah rained on sodom and gomorrah fire and brimstone (direct object) FROM Yehovah out of heaven" and also would you say that this could just quiet easily mean Yehovah did an action of raining fire from where he is to sodom?
So awesome. Love the examples. Smb managed to explain A and THE without creating a mess🎉🎉

Can we write הזה before a noun, for example: אני לא רואה את הזה הבית. Thank you very much.

I am sorry. I don't know biblical Hebrew. I only teach modern Hebrew.
@@hebrewwithdavid What would you r view be on the verse with modern hebrew?
"הבית הזה" ? למ "הזה" ?
When the noun is definite then "ze" also receives the "ha" article.
