I used to have a Go Video Dual Deck HiFi VCR combo! I LOVED IT! When it went to the great _Blockbuster Video_ in the sky I was crushed. Never found anything quite like it.

I had one of these years ago and used it to convert several VHS tapes to DVD, however the DVD's would only play on that machine. I still have the recorded DVD's how can i view them on another machine or on a computer system. I've not been able to find a format online to help view and copy the content to a mordern digital format.

You need to finalize the disc first. During finalization, it creates a menu files needed for the DVD players(and computers with DVD-ROM drive) to understand.

I have a go video player! The only problem is that the DVD side doesn’t work, the disc spins and spins and then says unable to load disc. So I just hooked up a dvd recorder to it lol

    Greetings.
Maybe you can help me. I recorded a vhs to a dvd. After finalizing it and watching it, i notice a bright green bar on the left side of the screen. Maybe you know what's the problem.

Did Go Video have any kind of affiliation with Insignia at all? The graphics are identical to the Insignia VCR/DVD recorder combo I have.
I thought those VHS releases of major movies were copy-protected with Macrovision.

If it does, the DVD recorder would automatically detect it and stop the recording and throw an error message.

Yes, many of them were manufactured at the same place.
