- this was my first trip of 2022 and it was one of the first warmups after weeks of cold weather......males were moving in and it seemed they were close to spawning if the water would have stayed warm but another front came through and dropped the water temps again….. remember to like , share , and subscribe , thanks!!!!

Love you videos had shoulder surgery the day I got my new boat delivered I was having surgery March 11 . The doctor said maybe able to go fishing by the end of June. Keep them videos coming it helps

@@tonythib26 Cheramie. I’m the one with the little white skiff. We spoke at the launch for a sec while waiting to put in. And I’m pretty sure we were the only ones fishing on that day when it was 30° out. I only caught 12 on the weekend, but I’m still learning how to fish really.

Nice… hope they work for you bud…I’ve been using them for years…..I use to use crappie nibbles all the time but once I discovered these I’ve been using these instead…. It’s all about confidence and I am much more confident when I have one on my hook

Yep almost all males….. if your not getting hung up then your not crappie fishing… comes with the territory.. lol… I always go back to my old set up…. That’s where my confidence is at it’s highest when I’m using that

I love it… plenty enough for what I need… it’s pricey but about the best you can get out of an aluminum bass boat

I use a 6 foot rod I bought from the crappie psychic and I use some smaller size quantum reels in the $30-$40 range

What size line you using? I can't get non weighted corks to cast far. I'm using 12lb. I'm thinking a lighter line will help with that

What type of jig are you using can you show me a picture of it
If you look at about 13:20 in The video I show what I’m using… it’s a panfish assassin curly tail with a chartruese crappie psychic trailer added to to hook with just a plain lead head 1/16 oz jighead… thanks for watching
I went behind Bayou Black yesterday. There wasn’t to much happen
it’s been a slow year for the area… I think the storm had a little to do with that
Good video Thib. Been catching some nice catfish in da Bayou in front my house in Galliano. Had 10# Friday & another guy caught a 16#. Not to bad, just had to cross the road & that was the worst part. Take care & keep them coming. GRO-JOE

They’ll probably be a few fish spawning all the way until May but I think the biggest part of it is done down here

Got ya. I see ya like that thing. I put up 30 yesterday but this rain going to mess me up for a lil while. All mine came off way out cypress. Keep on them bro I’ll see ya out there one day. Just don’t get in my holes lol

I would say so but in my opinion this area is best during the winter and early spring….

The X series xpress bass boat is rated for higher horsepower than most other aluminum bass boats… i think they are made with thicker aluminum…yes they are a little pricey but based on just reputation alone with smooth ride and durability

Male fish do the biggest part of spawning brother they make beds fertilize the eggs then guard the eggs all she does is come in for just a little bit and lay eggs
