Today 20 Adventure Buddies participated in Season 4 of Persian Steps Hike - the toughest hikes in our hiking calendar.
This hike about 130 KMs from Muscat, is to follow the track / steps made for Persian Army to Jabel Akhdar mountains, which was made around 1950s. The hike is quite tough as we climbed a elevation 900 mtrs.
Today the temperature was 11 degrees when we started around 6:30 am. It was pleasant throughout climbing up and descending as well even though it almost 50% trail was exposed under Sun.
We finished this one in about 6:15 hours after we spent over 90 minutes at top and about 30 minutes at base while we waited for everyone to return.
Each of us has sense of achievement completing this successfully.
