He really only won because of positioning and the qss but having a radiant gs helps too lol. we'll probably see a lot more polymorph bailouts in the future
Honestly I think Build a Bud into the polymorph charms might actually be a viable win condition, if a very rng reliant playstyle
10 Eldritch board slam stun should bypass QSS.
@@amiablereapernot possible, there is no charm that raises a 3 cost to a 4 cost. You’d need to have recombopulator for that to happen.
@@mattt3555that would be poor design, since it negates any possibility for other boards to win. Imagine you getting 10 portal and having literally no way to win?

He didnt hit duplicator charm, he got duplicator from sugarcraft reward

Slight Side-note, how does OC know it was the sugarcraft reward and not a charm? Is sugercraft always the same rewards?
@@Zinz778 it has a reward table, you'll get a component and some gold, then more gold, components and radiant remover then gold plus champ dup (plus components but my memory is hazy on this) and at last a masterwork thingy that changes one item to radiant (like the prismatic augment) after which you just win the game as the cake joins the battle (plus a tact crown if you care at that point in game), ofc all these are after getting the 7th layer of cake and above

PSA: If any of you are in this situation and want to block 5 cost polymorph, try to take at least one copy of each 5 cost. Polymorph depends on bag sizes so getting one of each 5 cost means your opponent won't be able to polymorph their 3 star 4 cost into a 3 star 5 cost
or just hold the 4 costs your opponent wants...
@@georgedai801 no, thats way worse because they can have multiple 4 stars lined up and they just need to hit one. The bag size is bigger too

honestly, feel like 10 eldritch is harder to get than 3 star 5 cost and should win vs all 3 star 5 costs, in probably around 100 combined games on PBE and live ive seen countless 3 star 5 costs and 1 10 eldritch comp
It always wins, problem is he countered eldritch using the cc immunity item
Its still tft , dont even think about balancing at these level of comp its fun and all
this season have many augments give 3,4 emblem so reach max 10 eld is not that hard anymore,plus the charms also give spatula,emblem,same emblems in 1 round,etc...
I literally got 10 eldritch and 5 arcana with that one augment that gives you an emblem every stage. It was the first augment of the game, and that was also my 5th game of set 12.
It’s way easier to hit 10 eldritch, as the opponent can’t do anything about you just levelling up to 10.
On the opposite, as toast tried to do, you can block the enemy from finding a 3 star 4 cost or 5 cost just by holding 2 copies.

2:40 Toast could have denied the 3 star 5-cost if he bought the Diana, Camille and Morgana in his shop, he would have at least 1 of each 5-cost units so the other player's Major Polymorph would have fizzled istead of transforming Olaf into Diana as there is no 3 star 5-cost available in the pool (there is only 9 of each 5-cost champion)

I put the source on the info in the post, it looks like it does rely on the pool and just doesn't do anything if it can't get you a 3*
basically the polymorph draws 9 copies out of the bag, and if there is not enough, you are stuck with 8 copies.
the possible counter play for this is to save a duplicator or find a duplicator charm if you see your opponent potentially blocking your 3* legendary

You also are not stuck with 8 copies of a 5-cost, you just keep your 4-cost unit as it can't get upgraded

@@rodrigomoreno3495 It is really possible with 9 Frost/Faerie. Both are kinda suck ass, the only thing that make them viable is the trait augment.
Unfortunately 9 Frost isn't a Prismatic trait, hit it once but the trait colour is still gold and not shinny silver like 10 eldritch or 10 Portal
10 Portal is really ass tho, I lost to a 9 Multistriker with 10 Portal and have 3 anti heal items

What a game, this is why i love TFT
Duplicator is always guaranteed at 1350 stacks, and the charm is very easy to find given he can immediately sell off the entire rest of his board which is at least 60 gold.
The highroll here is finding Olaf and toast not realising he swapped from finding fiora/rakan until too late

Everyone out here complaining 5 cost 3 star with specific items beats 10 eldritch and how the game is so unbalanced when in reality this interaction would never happen in a game they play XD
If he had just gotten 1 of each 5 cost the charm wouldn't have worked as there would only be 8 in the pool of each
im pretty sure it will still work as it should work the same as champion dup which makes new temporary champion copies into the pool until the unit is sold.

Bruh eldritch 10 prismatic trait is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder than doing a 5 cost level 3, specially with those charms in this set. The game is unbalanced haha.
I have been trying to unlock prismatic trait with eldritch for the quest, I couldn't do it. I have like more than 100 games focusing on this quest. Level 10 summoners + 3 emblems is way harder than 5 cost level 3.
PS : I have done my prismatic trait with portals comp (and tbh it was all RNG cause I was focusing to do eldritch 10)
I got a similar game the other guy hit 10 portal and i hit karma 3 and destroyed him
