SACHIN has scored well in 1996SEMIS CT1998QF CT2000FINAL 2003SEMIS 2011QF 2011SEMIS. Show me if Ponting or other player has scored atleast 50 runs in 6 different icc knockouts, and more importantly SACHIN has done this alongwith scoring consistently till SEMIS of 3 different ODI WCs of 1996 2003 and even 2011 🙄😊
By the way, no player ever has consistently performed well and made team win individually by his own efforts in every single match including Final of ODI WC, even GILLY PONTING etc. haven't performed in every game of any WC consistently from 1st match till Final. So, better understand that other players in team MUST perform with atleast half consistency in most games in WC, which real culprits like 1996 Azhar Prabhakar Kambli Manjrekar, 1999 Azhar Mongia etc. and 2003 Dravid Yuvi Kaif Ganguly DineshMongia etc. never showed ever in any WC. 🙄☹️
Same applies when KOHLI alone (or any other consistent runscorer) is targeted instead of other real culprits 🙄
And for desperate comparison obsessed poorkids, SACHIN peak years is from 1991 to 1998, whereas Mcgrath peak years is from 1999 to 2007. Check how much SACHIN has scored in WC1996 vs AUS where even Mcgrath wasn't effective to dismiss him early 😊

correct comparing with same generation players is ok but sachin and virat can't be compared. Sachin played against best and fastest bowlers generation like wasim akram, waqar yunis, imran khan, Shoib akhtar, lee, macgra, shan bond. now those kind of legend bowlers are not there. that time bowlers were bowling with 161 now no one is like them. and cricket format has changed now so that batter can score more runs.
Hitting 5 sixes in one match isn't hard as staying consistent for 14 years. That's why you and Sachin are considered as greatest

So humble when the world knows how you've pulled games out of nowhere and that too at the international level. The generation is lucky to witness VK carry forward the legacy of Gavaskar, Sachin and Dravid.
Comparisons are not nice because the game is constantly evolving too. As time progresses we have new bats, new technology to improve performance, new training methodologies and many newer and evolved ways of performing better. So the newer athletes will always have access to lessons learnt and newer ways to playing than their older counterparts.
Sachin had played with those bowlers that they are the alltime legend in that generation.
But nowdays no one bowlers like sachin's generation

Please don't initiate any disputes with anyone. We 1990s and any decade cricket fans must use cricket to connect with people rather than making foes ✌️😊
It's more about ACCURACY & CONTROL alongwith pace, which rarely a few exhibit, since 2018-19 or so. The point is, there were absolute abundance of such accurate bowlers in 1990s and early 2000s because of all team strengths being at almost toplevel till 2003 or so, but till 2009-2011 and few years later, WI ENG NZ SL etc. key players were on verge of retirement, so there was dearth of such top quality batting and especially bowling unit of ENG WI SL NZ etc. And even SA bowlers like STEYN MORKEL had their peaks at around 2006-08 till 2014-16. Kohli has surely faced some quality pacers, but they were at their descending phase of their peaks, which isn't Kohli fault. Overall, it's that the number of such accurate bowlers were surely lesser since 2014-15 or so. If you check for ENG, there was CADDICK HOGGARD JONES HARMISON SIDEBOTTOM TREMLETT etc. out of which many were short-lived but really good enough and accurate those times. Same with BOND TUFFEY MILLS ORAM VETTORI who were assets since 2000s, and Vaas Fernando Murali Herath of SL etc. or even Collins Cuffy Taylor Edwards Collymore etc. of WI. In short, the number of accurate line length pacers was far more earlier in 1990s till mid 2000s or so 😊
