I’ve been binging on your videos. Very great to see. Could you do a more in depth video of the different PCB layers and how to use them? I followed along your KiCad explanation as best I could but as I downloaded KiCad today, the program looks to be different as yours 11 months ago. Your video has been the most helpful. Thank you
Thanks for the comments! You're right, there are now a few differences (for instance the plot configuration page has a few things renamed or moved around slightly : ( Regarding layers, it is also relevant for component footprints, which I've been meaning to create a video on, so I can focus on that a bit more soon hopefully (plus the video didn't show 4-layer configuration which is a shame, although it's not too different to configure KiCad for that (it is done in the PCB editor, File->Board Setup-> Physical Stackup->Copper Layers). The settings there are worth an explanation, although I mostly leave them at the defaults, since for prototype PCBs, that information (board thickness etc) isn't conveyed in any format that the China PCB manufacturers use, that is selected on their web page configuration at time of ordering.
