I would recommend going with at least 8 GB RAM and an SSD with storage based on how much you need. Or with the current specs, install windows 10 on this PC, since windows 11 with 4GB RAM is very slow. The reason why I say this is because:
1. HDs are quickly becoming outdated, since they have moving components and can be very slow at times.
2. 4 GB of RAM is not at all future-proof. Even 8 GB RAM will become outdated in two to three years’ time.
I have used a PC with similar specs and let me tell you, if I was using that today, it wouldn’t even be able to do mundane tasks easily.

I just bought a Lenovo ThinkCentre Neo 50s Gen 3 Small Form Factor Desktop computer and I want to add a 2nd hard drive, when I opened the case there is a 3.5" hard drive bay, but there is only a Serial ATA cable with 7 pins that is about a 1/2 inch wide, and the power connector is daisy chained off the DVD drive is very small too. Can this work with some kind of cable adapter to fit a regular HDD SATA drive? Or do I need to purchase a special SSD drive that has these connectors? In these videos the SSD drives look like they have a larger ATA connector and power cables.

@@LTHUBstudio that's true. But I also meant manufacturers really have to consider dropping base specs since most people are going for higher specs models. Some will still prefer upgrading the parts themselves since it may be cheaper
