So the reason why we’re confused with this scene is probably because production told Tahiry that she’ll be face to face with Cyn and Johnathan at the same time. So that’s why the scene looks a little fake and contrived when they’re all standing there. Then she gets upset because she realized production trying to set her up and make her look like a fool while Cyn ‘looks’ like the bigger person. I think it’s sad that Tahiry signed up for this garbage storyline this season, it makes her look desperate because we all know (esp those of us who’ve been watching Joe and Tahiry’s relationship for years) that she’ll never get back with Joe. That ship has sailed. Sigh.
My sentiments exactly. There’s always going to be love there, but Joe has his own set of demons, some too complex to grapple with. If he’s not wrestling with drug addiction, he plays minds games designed to make you question your worth and your security in the relationship. I’ve never seen such a poor, miserable, tortured (and not in beautifully humanist way) soul on any of the L&HH franchises. He thrives off of sabotaging his relationships. The first year everything about him is amazing: he listens, he’s cultured, well-spoken and ambitious. After that, you meet the real him. The kind that leaves pictures of other women on his phone or wallet as a way to test you. Sad, sad, sad. If I was Cyn, I would never want to mend those fences. Tahiry dodged a bullet.

During the show, Jonathan said he could still see in Joe's eyes that Joe still loved Cyn, and allegedly, at the time, Cyn and Joe were still together, but did the break up thing mostly for the show. I'm sure they had their problems and were somewhat broken up, but maybe not as they portrayed on the show. From other comments I've seen, including yours, it sounds like Tahiry, in the past, was able to knock these girls over bc Joe, in fact, DID still have feelings for her. But I agree that I think when he came together with Cyn, he actually really did learn to love someone new. If you ever saw how they were before the baby when they were dating, it's obvious to me they were really in that honeymoon period and really learned one another. So yeah, if that was Tahiry's intention again, it really didn't work because of that. And I could tell during this season that Joe was over BOTH ladies anyway. It DID look like Tahiry was low-key trying a little, like when she put her bottom in Joe's lap and how she acted going shopping w him. So the reason why we’re confused with this scene is probably because production told Tahiry that she’ll be face to face with Cyn and Johnathan at the same time. So that’s why the scene looks a little fake and contrived when they’re all standing there.
Then she gets upset because she realized production trying to set her up and make her look like a fool while Cyn ‘looks’ like the bigger person.
I think it’s sad that Tahiry signed up for this garbage storyline this season, it makes her look desperate because we all know (esp those of us who’ve been watching Joe and Tahiry’s relationship for years) that she’ll never get back with Joe. That ship has sailed.

If he’s not wrestling with drug addiction, he plays minds games designed to make you question your worth and your security in the relationship. I’ve never seen such a poor, miserable, tortured (and not in beautifully humanist way) soul on any of the L&HH franchises. He thrives off of sabotaging his relationships. The first year everything about him is amazing: he listens, he’s cultured, well-spoken and ambitious. After that, you meet the real him. The kind that leaves pictures of other women on his phone or wallet as a way to test you. Sad, sad, sad. If I was Cyn, I would never want to mend those fences. Tahiry dodged a bullet.

I'm sure they had their problems and were somewhat broken up, but maybe not as they portrayed on the show. From other comments I've seen, including yours, it sounds like Tahiry, in the past, was able to knock these girls over bc Joe, in fact, DID still have feelings for her. But I agree that I think when he came together with Cyn, he actually really did learn to love someone new. If you ever saw how they were before the baby when they were dating, it's obvious to me they were really in that honeymoon period and really learned one another.
