I don't pick sides on nitro versus electric. I enjoy both, why not? I love the smell, sound and performance of nitro and really marvel at electric power and how they fly. Kyle, I love this flight and how your style has become so technical, with symmetry and balance. And the most challenging thing for most pilots, how unique each flight of yours looks. This is right there with the best I've watched. Hats off to you!
Nice flight ! Just got my new Nitro 650 in the mail. Upon checking over the kit i see that the feathering shaft requires a 5mm hex. It would be great if you could suggest to SAB to make a 5mm hex driver to host this. As far as i know Scorpion drivers stop at 4mm being the largest in the RC market. Thanks, Brian Simeoni
Awesome flight. Looking forward to its release. Video is excellent quality. Looks like 4k rendered to 1080P. Do you happen to know what camera they used?
maybe the most backwards step ever? Watch this vid and then a vid of the Goblin KSE 700 and this nitro crap is a dog. Motor cost more than double the electric power equivalent and whats a gallon of 30% nitro running these days, $35+? for what 6 flights... Surprised they didnt bring the flybar back on this one, maybe thats next unveiling lol.
+Van Litespeed Based on your strong opinion, can I assume you have flown a lot of glow helicopters and have considerable experience with flybared helis? While I like my FBL electric helis, I also have many glow/flybared heli and I love them too. While they are harder to set up and they do have more moving parts, there is a fascination and satisfaction that goes with the challenge.
Hi there, I can understand and fully respect your opinion on this. To be honest, there's a lot more than meets the eye for just "power". Flying weight is a big portion of how the model flies. So, sure an electric can climb straight up at an insane speed and can do tic tocs faster than any human can actually do them. Nitro is roughly 2-3 pounds lighter than its electric equivalent size which means it can change directions better, lighter disk loading meaning better and harder collective stops as well as be less prone to wobbles and bobbles that a heavy electric can. Not to mention it flies about 3x as long, more flight time is never a bad thing. Different strokes for different folks, I see it as SAB suiting to all of their customers!

Precision flying as usual, love the elevator tic toc circle beginning at ~1:20!
Awesome flight!
Nice flight Kyle. I like your style!!! KyleStyle ;-)
very nice ,now i will be going back to old school nitro flying but i have to explain myself why i changed before to electric " smile"
looking forward to seeing this Nitro at the South West heli Rodeo if you plan on coming out again this year....

How is it even possible to fly an RC helicopter and make it look like a dragonfly on a methinduced seizure? Very impressive!
+flawmore Lots of sim time, and years of practice. Also, you are going to crash from time to time, but it gets to be less and less.

Pre-ordered! is this at 2100? do you mind sharing what fuel nitro% your using in the 105 and how you shimmed it?
phenominal
