Legendary AI is ridiculous I go to the body one time and all of a sudden uppercut out of nowhere. I think real players are easier because they can't predict exactly what you are gonna throw
The switch kick does it so long as you can manage distance, a taller fighter helps tremendously and if you have someone like Connor or Jon Jones the jumping spin kick does crazy damage to the body off of counters
The worst part about legendary career is that you will be facing a 'kickboxer' who's only purpose in life is to take you down and armbar you. You can get out of it if you have a lot of stamina but you have to absolutely sweat/cheese it lol... It feels like AI's in legendary career have pre-sets and it doesn't matter what type of fighter they are it's randomly selected which makes 'watching tape' a pointless feature. You're right to spam leg kicks and for some reason front kicks/crane kicks almost always land & rock the AI they never see it coming.
they're so unrealistic, literally every ai is a god at countering. ea needs to slow down the timing because all they do is read your input the milisecond its inputted.
@@AmericanLegendd Exactly !!! Its not realistic at all ,it like the robot already knows which button your gonna push . Before you get your gun out, his already in the trigger 😂😂😂
Sometimes it happens. Legendary career can be very unforgiving. My advice is to fight carefully. To me sometimes, the legendary a.i. will be unbeatable. That's when you need to submit them. Unless you are okay with a loss or two on your record. It can be very unfair at times.
In my opinion it is the opposite. All you need to do in grappling is learn their pattern in grappling. On the feet it is a different game. If you wanna see what I'm speaking of, watch my career mode series, specifically my 4th video of the series(or 3rd, I can't remember. Whichever one I become champ.) In striking they counter like crazy, in grappling they do the same thing pretty much ever fight.
@@CrazyTowner I so badly wish they would make kickboxer kickbox, wrestlers wrestle, boxers box, etc etc. Instead you fight a boxer and he tries to wrestle or you fight a wrestler and he kickboxes the whole time, doesn't make sense
The ai favors their progam input than the controllers, so many times i spammed the button for clinch takedown but they get away every time. Slightest tap to L2 will leave your head open if your trying to prevent take downs so many times i shouldve blocked punches but they still got through anything i threw id be missing but the ai lands everything? I use head movement and they know where to throw still? And sometimes when i play they dont even acknowledge my inputs honestly believe this ai in my ufc 4 game is Alive😂 and also itll abuse the clinch spam
Definitely not just pure luck. You are right about there being no shortcut to it, but I will not allow you to spread these lies. Anyone should be able to do this after learning the game.
try to conserve your stamina, be mindful of how much you have and don't let your bar drain completely. Beyond that all you can really do is learn the transition denies and practice trying to get out of joint submissions.
nah I don't think they nerfed it. And in career mode, usually first I try to get my health stats up to 3 stars at least my head health, and then i focus the rest of my points on my movement and striking. That should give you a decent start.
Weird that y’all struggle so much I think there needs to be a harder difficulty obviously the whole shoot for one take down and catch an uppercut after three rounds of not shooting and then not throwing uppercuts is annoying but besides that it’s to easy just to arm bar them
@@kingLuu816 yeah that’s what I’m saying I only play on legendary I’ve gone through about 7-8 careers and I’ve prolly played a 100 tournaments or more and then prolly about 20 or so main event modes. I love doing simulations as well. Career is significantly easier then them modes unless hype is maxed out but even then seems easier. I try and challenge myself in career by picking a kickboxer and only grappling or vise versa. But by far subs are extremely easy for me. Hardest part is getting them to the ground but even if they are an elite striker if you out strike them they will take you down as a grappler makes 0 sense… then you wait for them to move block one transition and you can get the tap. On tournament mode I go as far as messing with the slider so it’s extremely hard getting the tap.

For sure, they read your body input every time it's dumb af. The only times I've ever been able to rock the cpu's body is if I get lucky lol.

Overeem, Rua, and Wanderlei also do insane damage with their knees, to the head or body
I beat Francis with Jones by knockout
Head move defense doesn't work. All we need is only blocking the AI's attack.

I have a 1st round 1st 19 seconds knockout of it and that that's also the only time I've stunned knockedow n or out

How to deny slam when i want to do submission
If you're talking about the slam from armbar you have to press whatever button pops up midway through the minigame before your opponent does.
