Hi it’s me, MeMelon, hi. Please tell me what you think of this hybrid style of me but more gameplay, I was a bit worried how it would feel pacing-wise with less me but yea lemme know😃😃😃

I found the pacing natural, at least in the sense that it wasn't something I noticed (which is generally the goal of pacing). However, if I may suggest something, even very very quiet sounds of whatever gameplay is being shown can add a sense of sonic depth to the video. I found the book prop very fun by the way.

If this format means more Melon content then absolutely
I'll always love more ambitious on-camera skits and such but this style is still very much consistent with your other stuff and as always I enjoyed it a lot!

Unintentional horror is the best kind of horror, because it hits the hardest when you aren't expecting it. I've tried playing Subnautica a few times now, and I literally can't play for more than like an hour because of how much I hate the open water on all sides. For me, Outer Wilds is the game that gave me the most deeply freaky moments I've ever had. I won't spoil too much, but one time I accidentally got out of my ship at the wrong time, and floating off into the endless depths of space gave me a new fear of space I didn't know I had. There's also this creepy lab in Undertale that really messed with me. Great video, and Happy late Halloween! (Or 364 days early whichever you prefer)

i compretely (probably misspelled compretely) understand your fear of the true lab in undertale,as soon as you enter it for the first time you just know something is wrong in there

I always enjoy when youtubers get on their spooky arc, I'm doing a back to back horror focused video next as well

Spooky is the best vibe right next to Christmas, and I’m always hype for some new cursed judge content👀

Oh Portal... it gave me nightmares when I watched playthroughs and it still does. Post apocalyptic scenarios horrify me so much I litterally can't sleep.

Lego Batman 1 has to be one of the creepiest games I've ever played. in most of the levels you just feel like somethings off all the time. Great Video anyway!

Excellent stuff as always, dude! No N64 game gives me the heeby jeebies more than Kirby 64. There's just something off with that game. It's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the word "melancholy."

Here from Cursed Judge , glad I came, ur stuff is great! I have more of an unintentionally unsettling video game thing, I know it’s not the same but I think it’s close enough ?: in Lego Star Wars the complete saga , in jabbas palace level there were renditions of the b’omarr monks , (in the lore they were monks that put their brains in jars to transcend or something) they basically were these spidery droids with a globe and orange bulb inside , and the way they sorta skulked around the area , not attacking you but not helping you either , young me just found rather unsettling I guess lol

I'm only 30 seconds in and I'm already having a blast. Your channel is super underrated!!
Also, we share a fear of the deep ocean, so i wanted to point out that one part of Majora's Mask where you have to dive into the depths and there are glowing eyes everywhere. Its awful

One game that scares the s**t out of me, is half life you may think why half-life? Well, you’re you here I play the game on high, volume 90% of the time it’s fine until all of a sudden your ears bleed from sudden gunfire because of a soldier shooting at you why I don’t turn the volume down I don’t know in fact, pretty much any valve game you pretty much have to keep the volume at like 25% because of how loud the game is especially in multiplayer and especially TF two.

something that always gets me even to this day is no clipping by accident in all the Gta games especially gta 5, just peacefully doing gerald missions in gta online then suddenly BAM you are falling to a gray empty skybox😢
    edit: misspelled gray loll

oh no dont get me wrong most of them ARE intentionally creepy but were definitely not intended to freak me out as much as they did, that freakin lunge fish bro
