- So we tried NASCAR racing in Forza Motorsport 4, what is NASCAR racing like in the most recent Forza game? We run a 30 Lap Daytona 500 "simulation" to find out!

But iRacing is better and i like Heat 4 more
Not just the graphics are better but also how the car spins out it’s much more of a simulation feel steering also going into the air and rolling around is more common so forza Motorsport is better than the licensed game

I have forza 7 I also have forza horizon, forza horizon 2,forza horizon,forza horizon 3,forza horizon 4 I absolutely think all the forza games are on point.

The only thing I don’t like in this game is the fact that these cars don’t have the Daytona aero package. With last year’s package, you could have easily been pulling nearly 210.
I think you can at least tune it to go that speed. It seems this car don’t have a tune
The stock cars in this game look much better than in the Heat games, but the heat games seem to race more similar to how stock cars actually race in NASCAR. If Heat could improve its graphics, it'd go a long way.
Its not even an actual NASCAR game and this is best the graphics i ever seen. And the gameplay looks good from my eyes, it just looks like people have to be used to driving the cars. Also, the fog, water on the ground, detailed. they actually did something with the weather?
Certain track environments have weather, Daytona is not one of them.
The gameplay for NASCAR honestly isn’t the great. The cars are nice to look at and that’s about it.
The shiny band across Turn 3 is where the asphalt melted during the JPM vs. jet dryer incident.

The game orders the grid so all the Loganos are at the front,all the Buschs in the middle,all the Elliott's at the back.
In FM6 it was all Chevys, then all Toyotas, and Fords started in the back. The car chose determined where you would start.
With a small or no restrictor plate those cars can hit 240mph so therefore the smaller the restrictor plate, the faster you go

Overcast weather a weird decision by the guys at turn 10? Everytime you start a race the game chooses a random time of day, unless you specify the time of day you want

I did a bit of this on FM6, Forza says that the Larson line is the best line around Daytona, but I was getting way more speed on the bottom
Also, you need to put the AI on unbeatable, otherwise it really sucks. And oh, sometimes the AI wreck too
in every nascar game there was i think the bottom line always was faster
The physics on all of the games are messed up, you’re not going faster, it’s just that you’re taking a shorter racing line, and it’s a lot more noticeable on games

I'm glad you said it. Force feedback in this game is ass. I hate to say that since I've owned and played the hell out of every forza since 1 but I don't like this one at all
mindofmyown333 I'm bored of Forza after playing for a decade too. I just want more depth from a racing game now.
F1 2017 has flags, better AI, pitting and tire strategy, full practice and qualifying. A deep career mode too. Hour long races are exciting while Forza is just so damn dull.

You can't go full speed in the pits around every pit lane since you can have the first pit box and then you'll miss it

But the NASCAR's in this game sound really realistic.
PenTrex I was gonna say lol, if it’s one thing Forza did right with NASCAR, it’s the sound. Even Heat 2 sounds like a pre-launch beta compared to this.
I totally agree with you. I have no idea why some people say NASCAR Heat 2 sounds better when Forza has the realistic engine sounds and crackles, etc.

I've noticed that after they released one of the patch updates for the game, that was when the drivatars decided they wouldn't use custom paint schemes on any car, and that also some of the cars you customized will end up being primer gray in the home page and it isn't until you go to start a race that the scheme shows up on the car.
Joey Moyer They’re still using custom schemes for me, but the Chevrolets use the Days of Thunder scheme, and the other two cars just use some shitty “most popular” scheme.
And I’ve had the primer glitch carry all the way into races. I’m fine with that though, Joey’s Pennzoil scheme actually looks pretty sick that way.
See with me, the AI will not use a custom paint scheme on any cars, idk if that’s just an unknown glitch or what, because they would use them when I first got the game, but after one of the updates, that’s when they stopped using them. Not to mention this is the first forza motorsport game I have ever owned haha

I agree the force feedback is awful however you can adjust the pedal strength it is under options wheel and advanced witch is press the x button I have to have no controller on to use my wheel as well I also use the g920 and if I could not adjust the brake pedal it would suck.I bought project cars 2 on steam for the pc as I have seen the issues with x box one and that title. Thank You for all your wonderful videos keep up the good work. ps look at the bottom right for the buttons in options :-)

They are 2 totally different games. If you enjoy relaxing arcadey racing then horizon is the way to go. If you enjoy more realistic racing and a lot of practicing and grinding, then FM7 is the go to
