Let's put the ANC's 30 years into perspective; Europe was totally destroyed during WWII, and tens of millions died. Yet, 30 years later, by 1975, Europe had been totally rebuilt, and became an economic powerhouse.

We had to cancel DSTV over a year ago just so that we can buy electricity 😅. We had to let our gardener go because the municipality increased our water levy on rates and taxes ! 🙆🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Soon I'm gonna have 2 let my house keeper go because of the new electricity tariff increase 😢. Btw we keep our own side walk clean and cut. Road almost a dirt road. No tar on it anymore 😢

I lived and worked in Joburg circa 1978. Having come from the Western Cape it was a huge shock. Later (circa 1987) my brother was mugged in the city. Soooo the decline of the city commenced long before where it is now. So while the decline in some affluent suburbs (e.g. Golden Grove, Morningsides, Zoo Lake, etc) have been less visible, the perceptions of people are formed by what they experience in the city. It will take a Rudy Giuliani type intervention to turn it around. And voters need to step up because elections have consequences! Alas, it appears that the horse has already bolted...

Talk about government and municipal workers not doing their work. Everyone knows this. We are especially frustrated with the SASSA payouts being given to dead people instead of the living.

Ya, the Guptas wanted to shift freestates police headoffice to Sasolburg before leaving the country. But still the munisipality pushing on with zuma and the guptas agenda starting building projects on farmgrounds right next to the town. Not doing any proper planning for sewerage or eanything else, despite the complaints of the citizens. Our towns streets are vandelised by the contactors that they use when pipes are bursting. These contractors leave our roads totaly unroadworthy.The while towns streetlights are not working and there is no respose from the munisipality when we complain. Now, with this new development upcomming, certainly they will have nice roads and streetlights with us living nextdoor in total disgrace. And mind you we are the taxpayers of this town with the municipality to manage our town regarding the roads and streetlights. But they are acting as if we are owing them something. This kind of problems are all around south africa. We desperately need intelligent
...intellegent people to run our towns municipalities effectively. Also our borders need to be closed off for elegal immigrants. They take over our jobs and the government build houses for them left right and centre and they dont allow us to complain. I like what Mosselbay is doing with their mumicipality??? Great show today and although I am a huge fan of Rob, I would caution against some of his comments because there are people that will react to it, comments like “the rand will go 50 against the dollar”, “move all your money to Bitcoin” etc. Rob is a great patriot, but just like the rest of us, doesn’t have a crystal ball.
Rob a rich twerp that is sometimes out of touch, his support for gayton, Herman and musi mouse should tell you to take what he says with a boat load of salt at best of times.
No crystal ball, however he is very well informed and Rob Hersov is one of the very few fighting to help create a better South Africa for all!

Fully agree. No man is a human crystal ball. To be a true leader implies that you will at some point admit that you are not always right. True leadership is admitting that all the ills in the world are not ONLY ATTRIBUTED TO ONE SIDE ONLY

I agree with much of what Rob says and you are way back in the queue already on many of the topics. Rib needs a a bit of technical assistance to come up with a much better plan, but his financial evaluation is of the best. His standing behind Trump when most South Africans would not support him was what impressed me most. Judeo Christianity is still the best but spirit filled Christianity has an added fool proof advantage, not always supporting the financial paradigm. There are few who understand that aspect.
Im sure the anc ministers and president can pay all that with lots left still. You know with all they have made while being public servents !!!
I have one question. What has BBEEE done for SA? We do know it destroyed many many jobs. So i am not in favour of it. It has only accomodated ANC buddies with inflated tenders. The ordinary man in the street has not benefitted and people who used to have jobs are unemoloyed.

Whatever requires motivation is feedback that you are pursuing something that is not linked to your highest values, it is therefor not perceived as that important to do or you cannot yet see how doing that specific thing will help you reach your goal. Identifying what you value most (not your morals, what you spend your time on, what is most important to you, what you spend money on when you have extra, what you love talking about, what gives you energy, etc.) and then linking that action (that you "require motivation for") and your goal to your highest values will increase the likelihood that you will do what is required without the need to "will" yourself to try and do it. It all starts with values, linked to your goals.

Concrete reinforcing sticking out on bridges etc is Soviet 1980s 101. I saw it across Russia on the TransSiberian railway in 89. Tsarist buildings were lovely and intact. Soviet buildings were all disintegrating and ugly. Helps to build well in the first place, and look after what you’ve got. 🤔
