First of all I want to exclaim: What a beautiful sky there is in Siberia at this time! 😃
This is the first thing that struck me about this video and this is proof that Siberia is not that always cold place with a cloudy sky.
I want to start the speech by saying that Tobolsk is a beautiful city both. from a historical-cultural point of view and aesthetically. It's not like the big Russian cities which are very chaotic, Tobolsk is quieter and very beautiful aesthetically. For me, these types of cities would be ideal to live in because they are halfway between city and rurality.
Now, looking at the historical-cultural aspect, in the past it must not have been a happy destination, far from it, given that many of the visitors were political or social opponents who were imprisoned in the prisons of this city. In fact, you showed us the prison where the prisoners were held. A. To tell the truth, I am not scandalized or disgusted to see this prison because it is now closed and transformed into a place to visit for tourists.
The churches you showed us are jewels, true works of art both from the outside and inside and are very well maintained.
Finally, I believe the Kremlin is Tobolsk's calling card both for its aesthetics and its grandeur.
They certainly gave the Kremlin the white color to camouflage it with snow in winter so that it could not be seen by enemies. However, seeing this white on a sunny day like the one in the video immediately reminded me of all those places in the Mediterranean where the houses are white to reflect the sun's rays. I felt the same impression as one can feel when visiting these Mediterranean locations and now I have the curiosity to visit this Kremlin in the summer to experience the same sensations. 😃🤩
Then like every Russian place, you cannot miss the good food and the Russian and local cuisine which from what I saw in the video, is a show of goodness starting from the smoked fish which also in Tobolsk is an excellent specialty as in all of Russia . The prices are excellent for this processed fish which allow it to be purchased several times a week.
Then, there is the more refined cuisine in the place where you went where I saw some very tasty and inviting dishes, among which pelmeni can never be missing. 🤤🤤🤤
With every video of yours that I see, I realize that the cold in Russia is only a deceptive appearance because, behind this, the true beauties of Russia are hidden. (But the cold and snow also contribute to making Russia beautiful).
