V1 Easy Helmet Fan System ~$20 (for Costume Masks)

Version 1 (V1) of my easy to build fan system to stop fogging goggles lenses on your costume helmet or mask. See also V2 & V3 improvements, linked below.
I used the Digikey Battery Life Calculator to determine the expected amount of battery time I would get off of this fan. You'll just need the total mA used by your items & the mAh of your prospective battery. www.digikey.com/en/resources/...

5. 30 mm x 10 mm 5V fan.

6. A 3.7v low profile lithium polymer (LiPo) battery.

7. A step up voltage booster to convert 3.7 V to 5 V (brand: Comidox).

- While technically, it will work without this converter - I opted to incorporate it because since the battery is not of sufficient voltage to support the fan requirements - which will result in the fan pulling a heavier battery draw to compensate - thus depleting the battery quicker than if the voltage supply matched.
