The entire school system world wide has to be reformed. We need to teach kids things in Context of real things that can be touched, smelled and sensed. When I went to chemistry classes I only saw codes and things were not brought to us in relation to actual stuff so I never was interested in chemistry because of the way they taught it. If they had brought perfume oils into the class it would have been 100 percent different for me and I would have become interested in chemistry. It's now at age 53 that I am finally getting into it on my own as a hobby science blog reader but now I'm not interested anymore in getting a diploma. I wasted my life on psychology classes at university instead of the things I really needed like law, business and chemistry.
