It’s sacred ground I walk upon with every step I take…Age 70, and I moved to land that had been abused. For me the Hermit cave has been a rehab project that has connected me to unseen forces…The Microbes that live in the soil and live in my gut. The land now feeds me, and I mulch leaves assisting the microbes in crating new soil. It’s the MAGIC of the mundane, honoring every season and it’s gifts. My grandmothers fed their families off garden plots during the depression. This has been a connection with them and the Native Peoples who lived on this land historically. Now age 82, this is my legacy. I’ll pass this holy land to others. It’s rich; it’s fertile. This is a healing place..and that’s what I’ll leave behind.

When I saw the Inner Earth card, it reminded me so much of a guided meditation I did into my 'underworld'. I went deep into the earth and in this cave, there were a lot of pillars. It almost looked like a warehouse full of past experiences and hurt I had stored down there, and it was time to light up the whole space, look at all those past hurts, heal and then let them go. At the end of that meditation, I walked out that door.

I’ve always believed that I have a soul connection with trees, I noticed them and they notice me and we have a glorious conversation. In order to ground I look at trees out my window, I see incantations and then vocations while I’m looking at the trees. Ponderosa tree is an amazing smell that heals me instantly. grandmother Cottonwood is one of my ancestors in my shamanic journeys. I was told once that I am a blue printer soul meaning that I was involved in the original blueprint for earth and for me it feels as if I designed much of the fauna and flora. I am not working with the land or plants anymore, But I do ceremonies often and I heal individuals now. And of course I share everything to the collective. I do have a large imaginational world and I can’t imagine living without it!

What was in the hermit cave was a tiny spark of magic that grew larger and larger the more I acknowledged it and played with it, illuminating this door to the world that has been there all along but hidden in plain sight, and likely locked until I was ready. I come from a long line of Scots/Irish travellers but we've kind of been suppressing a lot of the foresight/intuition stuff due to a lot of trauma last century. I was out in the country today for a bush walk (lots of trees) and saw a farm on the way back with the most beautiful roses. When my mum died in November 2017 I posted a pic of a red rose on hair/makeup Insta - it's what my dad used to call her because her name was Roslyn.
