Funny story I actually messaged them back in 2019 and they said it was the B&M 6 chime. The COG went back on in 2019. I used that for reference when I edited this video.
I wish that it was an EM-1 whistle!!! We own that whistle that the Viscose crew was nice enough to put on for the weekend. .. while it does have B&O heritage. . It unfortunately is not an EM-1 whistle.
@@chendersonrailproductions704 also, in 2019 you have 1225’s whistle labeled as a C&O 3 chime, that’s 611’s whistle. Preston Clayton frequently loans that whistle out to them.
They posted it on there instagram in 2017 when getting all sorts of questions and have posted it multiple times. I have a few friends on the crew as well who have said it is a Nathan 6 chime.
*Which. In this collection Probably the CBQ 5 and the L&NE 3 Chime. However theres a few others I really like. 1225s Nathan 6, the C&O hancock 3 chime, the Reading 6 on 425.
@@OldIronVideo okay so where compairing two different engines that operate at different boiler pressures for how loud a whistle can be? Not really the best choice to do so. A whistle can sound different on many different factors. Including boiler pressure.
Man I loved 1225s Nathan 6 chime tuning in 2016 and 2017, just sounded so majestic yet aggressive.
This video was very impressive! I loved it! 4501’s whistle was definitely my favorite!
765's 2012-2018 tuning is just pure nostalgia.
As much as i love the current whistle, it really is
Very cool captures👍enjoyed watching your video. Greetings, Martin🙋♂🚆🚅
That ain't no B&M 6 chime that's a COG 6 chime 17:28

Since when did 1630 start carrying an aux tender with her? More importantly why
2019 if memory serves and no idea. I just film trains.
Where did you hear that 152 was wearing a PM 5 chime in 2018? That whistle is supposed to be off DC&S #3
I asked someone on the crew
@@chendersonrailproductions704 hmmm… I asked too. Wonder if it was changed for the charter? PM 5’s are very rare.
@@PereMarquette1223 no idea to be honest. But i know when we were there a few of us thought it was a DRGW 5 chime.

@@PereMarquette1223 that was not the 611 whistle. That one i can confirm was a C&O hancock

@@chendersonrailproductions704 good choices, I really doubted the loudness of 425s whistle until it pitched out my microphone a few times!
@@OldIronVideo not sure why you would doubt that. When they put a reading 6 on her she is really loud.
@@chendersonrailproductions704 because I had heard 90s before and it wasn't that loud
