Constructive criticism: Roll the sain tight between the shovels, when walking make sure the net is at an angle with the bottom of the net being in front. This will allow you to just slowly flatten the net more off the bottom and pick it up with all the fish still in it. Then you won't have them swimming away at the end of each swipe and you won't need the normal net. Love the content, keep it coming.
Good tip and don't keep the net in a straight line. A u shape gets them in the net and you don't lose all of them swimming around the side. Try to keep moving forward with as few stops as possible just keep going till the whole net is out of the water. When you stop it gives them time to find the way out.
Before you refill the pond, Hang some shade cloth over the top of it, as dark as you can get. The more light you cut out the clearer the water will be. The algae need sunlight to grow. The shade cloth will keep the herons from spotting your fish.
When seining, keep the bottom of the pole forward, about 45 degree angle. That keeps the best contact with the bottom of the pond and scoops everything up into the net. I've been seining since probably 8 years old. You guys are getting better, but keeping the bottom of the poles forward is key! The little pond is a huge success! 😀
Stretch the seign tight and keep your poles that your holding pointed out away from you, and drag the bottom. Walk as fast as you can. When you get to the end both people pull there poles up and everything will be in the net
You need to pull the bass out when they get big enough to eat the minnow breeders. At that point they are big enough to not get eaten in the big pond and it gives the minnow pond time to replenish the minnow population
You do t want anything competing with the bass if you want giant bass, not big bass but giants. Walleye, perch, catfish all eat bass food. You want it solely a bass fishery. The ranch pond put everything in it or the pond by the ware house
I love the fact that I can’t seem to keep up with all the videos you post and I can’t wait to watch them. The volume and quality of your channel is incredible!
Seining is very simple if you can maintain bottom contact and speed, close at the right angle with your pool and haul it in evenly to keep the leads on the bottom and the fish in the bag. Highly advise using four fish totes horizontal and loading net into the rear totes and shaking the fish in the front tote. Using two totes to store gets you ready to set again without having to untangle a mess. Order 1/8 for fry, which you should probably leave in the pool, or 3/8 - 1/4” mesh for everything above that like that breeders. Memphis Net & Twine builds nice commercial nets. I’m sure they could hook you up.
I'm the one who's in charge of taking care of the family farm ponds, and I love the hatchery and pond videos!! Gives me ideas of what to do and what fish to put in!!
Thats cool your getting your shop rebuilt that will be so nice to have it done before winter. O By the way just so you all know that it's starting breading time so you need to git all of your traps set for predators i would rather you trap them then them getting to your animals. You can build a 20'x20' with no floor and put into the ground well they call them tornado tie downs so that way the wind can't blow it over
Shut up and stop begging for likes. Everyone hates like beggars. I have reported this comment by 40 different accounts. Everyone else should also report this comment for spam
I think Pork Chop is a Duroc, and they can get up to around 1000 pounds, so she is going to be a lot bigger than Deb. They grow until they're around 5 years old and most female Durocs grow to around 700-750 pounds, but some get a bit larger, but either way, she is going to get around twice as big as she is now. lol
I think you should add a few Paddle fish to your big pond. Imagine going out for a bass adventure in the next year or so and hooking into a big 40lb paddle fish in your back yard pond. Great work on the new pond Andrew Keep it up.
flat strap decoy weights zip tied across the bottom. Also, longer poles so you can push the bottom as far ahead of the top as possible and when you get to the end you drag the weights on to shore first to create a pocket of net. I used to make a killing trading shiners for a "donation" as a kid.
Yall should have a competition, however many animal barns you want that’s how many teams yall have and yall all have the same budget but could do something like a team gets power tools and another gets manual tools and see who can build the best barn
This video is so cool. I love how you mess around with your animals. Having a homemade pound is so cool! I cannot wait to see a big as 10 pounder coming out of your pound
Tbh you should get a built in barn that can't be moved so they have a place to stay when after winter at night, love the videos keep up the wonderful work
SHHEEW let's go can't wait to see this banger video as usual. Great job on getting the minnows to spawn. You are definitely getting the hatchery figured out for sure..
For the barns, you should build them on top of pallets. Or make a big, sturdy pallet of some sort yourself so they're easily portable with the skid loader. Could be an idea
Hey idea for a dux and bux product. You should design a bag/ set for morning breakfast in the blind. Pockets for cooking utensils. Maybe a built in pocket cooler for eggs, bacon, or ham… and of course chocolate milk. It would be nice to have a bag to fill the night before and grab in the morning. Obviously it’s a staple in your videos and would be useful to others who want a morning blind breakfast.
You need to angle the bottom of the pole ahead of you towards the direction your heading in. Makes the net work better. The weights will keep contact unless you didn't buy one with weights
Flair, Hatchery is fine but if you want clear water listen to trapper Jay you need to add tons of plants but nothing is needed for the fish the filter is plenty.
U could use a fire hose and siphon to move the water and fry safely. Start with a firehouse with a cap. Fill hose with water. Drag it into the upper pond foot by foot. Allowing it to fill. Once full put the cap on. Run the heavy water filled hose to lower pond. Remove cap. Should siphon down hill now. Keep top of hose submerged and don't lose the siphon.
I'm glad the new building is going up so fast.🛖 Damn, Pork Chop is huge!🐖 Give Jimmy the elastic band treatment.😳 I like the barns you had.🤷🏻♀️ Man, I love the mimicking!😅 I knew you could do it!🎉
I think you need to do a tadpole catch and cook. That's never crossed my mind. Wonder if anyone has done it before. That made me laugh, could be good though.
Try to keep the net tight and walk faster. When you get to the end both people just pick it up with picking up the side on the bottom first and all the fish are going to fall to the middle of the net. Then you can just dump them into a bucket or scoop them up.
Flair, get a pool net. Theres a net they sell that has the tiniest holes to scoop grains of sand. I've used them to get sand out and its perfect for this mission 👍🏽

Yup
I told him he doesn't listen 😂😂😂
He's just a dumb kid with too much money
Also start at the shallow end and work your way to the deep end and move faster
A FLAIR VIDEO ALWAYS MAKES THE DAY BETTER!

8 or 10 stall barn POSSIBLY turn one into a coop with an outside access and leave stalls open until needed.
Stretch the seign tight and keep your poles that your holding pointed out away from you, and drag the bottom. Walk as fast as you can. When you get to the end both people pull there poles up and everything will be in the net

So true😊
Or yellow perch!

Need another bullfrog hunting video flair, that one you & banjo picked up was a monster 😂😂
Can’t wait to see what your pond grows!
you should do a garage vlog, even if its the same as before, we would still watch it.
For Theo's cage instead of a tarp we used self tapping screws and put up corrugated steel. So much cheaper and easier.
Are you going to add some water back into the pond? You drastically changed their growing environment, which as it turns out, was pretty darn good! 👍
5 likes flair has to give me jerky
6 now no jerky for you
Be careful man, Flair might show up at your house with a PALLET of jerky and make it a video 😂❤🔥
I hope

Today we learned that the F in Flair stands for F Minus 😂 This video was great!
With 2 large barn doors so you can close one when it snows or gets colder
