Just finished test driving a 2020 Kona Ultimate. Went into it with lower expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Was comfortable, responsive, and interior fit and finish was better than what I was expecting from an entry level SUV. Still would prefer the hybrid if it were all wheel drive, but I was quite pleased with the Ultimate. I will give this vehicle some serious consideration. Thanks again for continuing to produce high quality content!!

Right now I'm almost ready to commit to buying the Kona Ultimate. I'm actually amazed since I've only driven sedans my entire life. Yesterdays test drive was truly surprising! I do however want to drive a 2020 Sonata Turbo before I make any decisions. At this point it would really have to blow me away to make me chose it over the Kona. Dealer says he'll call me as soon as they come in. Hopefully soon.

Great video, as a guy who has had, White lights, orange red color, green, and now blue, I really do like the blue light, really easy on the eyes, and calming. Green was also good. I found orange red, to be tiring on the eyes. So, put me in the blue group!

Drove a AQMD test vehicle many years ago, it had a large battery pack under the seats, it was installed in a older Honda car, and it drove like a slot car, it scared me as I did not know what to expect, all wheels gripped the road and it really showed in its performance.

@@AsianPetrolhead Southern California AQMD had spent decades curing the air problems of SoCal, and after that happened and we (regionally) were beginning to breathe again, the AQMD had a money problem so they cut staff in half, (-60 folks) and now they had half of a very large building to use, so they bought 4 cars to "play" with, the car I drove was one of these and no one really knew what to expect but we all did get there later, and the best idea was to go hybrid because of the range and fuel issue.
Im amazed you fit in the back seat! Lol. I just traded in my 2019 kona for a 2020 santa fe for added room w/ car seats. I enjoyed driving the Kona, but I really love the santa fe. Thanks for the reviews!

The top spec in the UK (Premium SE) doesn't come with the adaptive cruise control. It's still a paid optional extra (I know, I just picked up my 3-year lease, bit disappointed but it's still a great car).
