I've been using Rocket Korean for 90 days now. I'm getting to a point where I can understand a lot of basic conversations and can pick out certain words to make sense of it. It's still a long way to go but I'm way further than I ever thought I would be at this point!
@@TestPrepInsight It’s an audio based language learning app I’ve seen many language TH-cam channels talk about positively. It is entirely free (optional donations are accepted), all built by one guy. I think he has 5-10 languages available. Some are “complete” courses, others are “intro” courses. I recently started his Spanish course, so far I really like it. He is basically teaching a woman Spanish step by step by speaking and you listen to the whole thing. I don’t think there is anything written (that I’ve seen). I about 10 lessons in and his teaching method is VERY different (so far). He is starting off by teaching cognates (words that are similar in Spanish and English) to show how quickly a new Spanish learner can easily know, say, and understand hundreds or thousands of words. I don’t know where it goes from there, but it seems good so far and a lot of “language experts” on TH-cam seem to say it’s great. I really enjoy your reviews, they are very thorough, so I was curious what your thoughts are. I think the guy also makes all the lessons available on TH-cam and SoundCloud, and maybe a website, for people who don’t want to use the app… but I’m not 100% sure about that. The app is just called “Language Transfer”. I know it’s available on iOS, I would assume Android too, but I’m not sure.
