The comments making fun of this guy's German proficiency are so disappointing. This guy came in seeking asylum. He was definitely placed in an asylum home with the threat of deportation looming over him everyday. Despite this, he was able to attend language school and obtain limited proficiency in the German language. Afterwards, he went to do a vocational training on how to be a forklift driver (as he said, he was a forklift driver and it's impossible to do so in Germany without tbe certification). He showed lots of dedication and hardwork. Unfortunately for him, he was deported after everything because his asylum claim was rejected. What is funny about all of this? How is it a bad thing to make mistakes while speaking a language which you didn't grow up learning? Even with my C1 certificate in German, my PhD and my German citizenship, I sometimes make mistakes with the language. Why can't we be kind to one another? It's the same way that we ridicule each other back in Nigeria when someone makes grammatical mistakes with the English language. We laugh at each other for speaking Yorùbá or Igbo. We act like we're descendants of the British royal family. Let's shelve this arrogance and be kind to each other. The journey in Europe is very difficult for us as black people. The least we can do for each other is to be kind to the next person. I wish the brother in this video all the best in Italy!
Seeking asylum for what? From whom?? I am happy that Nigerians experience this level of hardship in Europe!! By far too many Nigerians had no frigging understanding of Europe!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
Adults with arrested development spewing rubbish all over this comment section. Someone is narrating his experiences in a language he's not native to, and all you find worthy is nitpicking his lexis and grammatical structuring of the language?! Major foolishness
When you look at his face, you will know that he is not a happy guy. I want to use this opportunity to tell some men that if they have a permanent stay here, they should make their stay conducive for themselves and their family here before thinking about somewhere else. This is not the time to go home and begin to brag about that you are from Europe. Use your finance to train your children here so that they will have more opportunities than you. You are a cleaner. Do you want your children to be cleaners, too? Lay a good foundation for them here. East or west, home is the best. The question is, where is your home? The biggest home is in your heart, not in those cars and buildings. Those child benefits will end some day
Na true this bros they talk. Me i det Austria. My advice is when coming to europe please make sure you have your documents. You will have peace of mind.
I feel sorry for this guy. He want work and german government make it so difficuilt for him. But so many criminal people can stay here with permission😢😫
In 2023 German passed a law, that all rejected refugees, who had been living here for 5 years get a 18 months resident permit to work. Only condition no criminal record. For extension before 18 months expire the person must have A2 and working, the you get a 2 years stronger permit, after 3 years with that, the right to apply for a German passport, condition B1 certificate.
Germany is purely Europe. Everyone wants to live and work in Germany because the pay is good and the Germans know that. Sometimes getting a resident permit is share hard work and luck 🤞🏾 but the system doesn't discriminate much. I came to Germany in May 1986 and went through the same process.

And with the German he’s speaking im not sure he went to uni. After Uni if you work for some years (around 2 years ) you can get your pass or 10 years permit. You can choose! What Germans love is people that went to school or work at the position they were granted a visa for in order to be useful to the country and not be a liability seeking for social help and such things… I am not trying to bash on anyone but people wanting to travel might get misled by such informations… Germany is stressful, yes! Germany is cold, yes! Germans are cold towards strangers, yes! Life as an African in Germany is hard, in alot of situations, yes! Highest 9 months you have your passport except if you did something wrong! The little precision he might not have mentioned in the beginning is the way through which he came to Germany! So the question is: did he come legally??? End of story. Coming illegally in a country is hard regardless! And the fact that he said “he did his transit in these other country might say more about how he came! Please if you want to come to Germany, come through a study or work visa! Life as a person without papers is never funny!
