You cannot blame the Communist party in power in China. Are you kidding? You want to be put into the fire? The blaming in the U.S. may suck, but that's freedom for you.
The pace of all workers in China is on another level when compared to those in the U.S. China can build a big building in a week with no break and working 24/7 while it will take people in the U.S two years to build with coffee break every hour, smoking time, praying time and etc..😅

This scene is like the Chinese movie "The Wandering Earth" telling us that heroes are never just one person, but millions of human beings. To hell with Hollywood's Superman, Batman and Marvel's imaginary heroes that have never existed.
It is inline with Communist/Socialism Ideals that Everyone comes go help, and Superman and other heroes etc are just Single or few individuals mirroring Capitalistic ideals of Only one guy doing it all
And when you read those comics, you see that society becomes dependent on those individuals to save them from trouble, and bcos of that, society never develops to become competent enough to handle those problems on their own.
The difference ?.. The americans ran AWAY from the fires, and hoped for the fire brigades to come and save their homes. the Chinese, ran INTO the fires and took action. Quite amazing. Things we never get to see nor hear.
Do you even know why this fire happened? It was set intentionally and if you looked carefully (which I doubt) you would see that the ONLY thing burning is infrastructure and not trees. It's the same weapon that was used on China several years ago. The government wants the people in that area to leave and sell their properties to Black Rock, Bill Gates, etc., and for CA to have their smart city in time for the 2028 olympics. The same thing happened in Hawaii and North Carolina (both have resources the US government and Western corporations want). This is a WEF agenda for the WHOLE world. Yes, China and Russia included. You will have nothing and be happy, that's the mantra. Understand??
No Ive seen multiple videos of them trying to defend thier own houses. From cutting the trees or wetting the roof. The difference is that they try to save thier own houses instead of the entire community. Americans culture are too self centered to even try helping another person. In other Countries communities will rise up and flock to the direction to stop the fire by stopping the spread like cutting tress and bushes at your neighbors place. Because they believe if they save the comminity they said themselves. Americans on the other hand just tries to save thier own property
I was in Fujian, China, in 2008. A fire broke out in the night in the hills in the vicinity of the hotel where i stayed. I heard a lot of sounds of motorcycles going up the hills and within a few hours the fires were extinguished. The following morning i met a few young men carrying on their duties like normal in the park and i was surprised that these young guys were there fighting the fires the night before. They were volunteers and yet they did not make the excuse not to attend work the following morning!
Much like the crew on ships, all do what they can, and in the one I was in, the fire started after midnight, so guys that had manned the bars and the entertainment put on fireman gear and did their best. Ten hours later, the fire was out, and just a couple of us passengers were dead!

But at that time many Chinese complaint saying if this happen in America it would being resolved. I guess they are wrong. Chinese (Mainland, HK, Macao, Taiwan and other overseas) need to have confident and be proud of whom you are and our culture
These Chongqing videos lack footage of the Chinese army and firefighters (I don’t know if the editing was intentional), but they are on the front line every time they provide disaster relief, and the people spontaneously organize to act as their back-up. This is the unity of the military and the people. And the U.S. military, what are they doing? They are only good at carrying out massacres in backward countries.
Nah. The video made it clear. The firefighters were in the first line. What they were portraying was the second line firebreak volunteers. And they cite one so called expert that the fire could not be put off due to the draught and strong wind. It seemed that the most critical factor that finally stopped the fire outbreak was the firebreak, so there was nothing wrong with the video. If you think about it, the frontline was dangerous that the firefighter would not allow the citizens to get close by; therefore, no footage of those firefighters came out.
The fire fighters had the worst as they worked hours facing the blazing fire within short distances. The condition must be hell for the fire fighters as if they in a burning inferno.
The most important thing is that they always deliberately overlook the role of the Communist Party of China. When disasters strike, members of the CPC say, "I am a Communist, I will go first." This also happened during the fire rescue operation in Chongqing.

When the pandemic hit in Jan 2020, BYD was a major lithium battery maker who was trying to get into the EV business. By late January, they saw that face masks will be needed in large quantities, and directed 3000 engineers to start a production line making various types of face masks. By February 8, 2020, BYD's first production line was already operational and started producing masks. By March 2020, that productions line had already turned into the world's single biggest mask factory. BYD went from making batteries to also making 5 million masks PER DAY within a span of about 40 days. BYD would also manage to sell about 400,000 cars in 2020, most of which were older gas powered cars. In 2024, BYD would sell 4 MILLION cars, overtaking Tesla to becoming the number 1 selling EV maker in the world. This, by the way, is why we have a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs in this country. Two different cultures, hardly comparable. I believe that if someone organized a volunteer response effort in LA, Americans from all over the country would join, just like the Chinese did in the Chongqing wildfire. The problem is, in the US the organizer would be sued by the government or some residents for absurd reasons. The American society does not encourage this type of civil activities.
If the government has a very mature plan to deal with fires, then citizens can assist firefighters in putting out fires with very low risk. This "very low risk" is definitely lower than the risk of being shot.

The pace of all workers in China is on another level when compared to those in the U.S. China can build a big building in a week with no break and working 24/7 while it will take people in the U.S two years to build with coffee break every hour, smoking time, praying time and etc..😅

Much like the crew on ships, all do what they can, and in the one I was in, the fire started after midnight, so guys that had manned the bars and the entertainment put on fireman gear and did their best. Ten hours later, the fire was out, and just a couple of us passengers were dead!

Because the US trains their citizens not get involved. They trained their citizens not to get involved when they see a crime happening or people in danger or in need of help. The authorities will most probably turn away civilian volunteers who go to the sites wanting to help.
It's not that simple, Even the residents want to help, they have not any resources to do it. No water, drone, sand. they didn't even have a shovel to dig a Firebreak. No center commander to plan Firebreak neither.

Surviving it VS Conquering it. Impressive.
Self-sufficient, self-reliant, and self-protective are the basic core/culture/beliefs of the Chinese. But last of all, they are not selfish, to themselves or foreigners. Don't be fooled by malicious broadcasts/news to smear this country. Be honoured and respectful to them. Remember, from history, they never invaded or started wars with other countries (Genghis Khan was not Chinese, he was an uncivilized nomad from up north) so stop the awful downgrading/despise.

wild fire is the only natural disaster that human can fight against and have chance to win. But it need brave people, powerful government, well organized society, and tight cooperation. The US California did terrible on those aspects.
And flooding earthquake
The point is I don't see other state come and help California but Canada and Mexico..hello? Are you guys in the same country? Why don't help eachother? But thing different in China. Chongqing wildfire breakout and firefighter from nearby provinces come to help even from Yunnan has travel all the way to help with mediocre of local people who come out from everywhere to give a hand, food, water, labour and any needed supplies. After wildfire is being defeated Chongqing people line up on the road to send off the heroes back home....
Other countries say...Human can't win mother nature while Chinese people say Human can WIN over the nature! That's why you see China doing all infrastructure that challenged the nature 😅
Canada sent firefighters and planes. When was the last time USA helped us?
To be fair to neighbouring countries like Mexico, etc. America has a history of rejecting aid (look at Hurricane Katrina, 77 countries offered to help. 54 outright rejected, the rest had donations of money and aid unused). All to keep some semblance of national pride. "America's the strongest! We can protect ourselves!" Says the country that regularly gets its schools shot up.
from wht I knows the worst part is California keep sabotaging their effort from like cut off funds for fire fighter, instead of band together they instead fight amon themselves.
I heard Oregon sent quite a lot of firetrucks but they were denied because those trucks didn't meet the emissions policy of California. 😓

In the face of a massive natural disaster, it is impossible to rely solely on government agencies to take action. The people must step up and take responsibility-saving their own homes is their own duty.
Their mindset is the big difference, one says "whatever happens call 911", the other one says,"lets do it"
They trained their american citizens to be that way - don't get involved. Even if civilian volunteers would go there to help, the authorities will most probably just turn them away by force if necessary.
@rap3208 that's the point, the citizens were preconditioned by the goverment to act that way
@ And that's my point, you say americans just say, "just call 911". I say the government programmed americans to be that way. Read and comprehend.

The political system in China is built around communities, from the country side to major cities. When disasters hit, community leaders leap into action, organizing volunteers and professionals alike to deal with the situation. That is how China survived all these years since Chairman Mao founded the communist party and the country, and it has worked beautifully. 👍

While rescue teams do save animals at disaster sites, media coverage tends to highlight these efforts. This emphasis may create the impression that in the face of disasters, animal lives are prioritized over human lives in the United States. Some critics argue that such initiatives might serve as a distraction from potential inadequacies in the U.S. disaster response efforts.
I am non-American. I am puzzled why the American media devote so much time reporting the "touching" stories of dogs and cats being rescued in wildfires. I know it is very noble to rescue pets. But why don't the media report more on humans and fire fighting?
@@eugenec7130Because, rescuing humans are never the priority in the first place

Such all for one and one for all mentality is deeply rooted in Chinese culture and DNA. 👍
The biggest difference between US and China is how Chinese societies mentality is helping firefighters and rescues with no words or reasons.
On US is peoples is SIMPLY running aways and putting all on rescues and firefighters only.
US is so busy how to caring themselves then others whilea blaming on many peoples rathers being somes peoples who benefitings together
Meanwhile Chinese are complaining about how the US would have done the job even faster

The Chinese look up to the Americans on many aspects. Now they can cross firefighting off.

The main difference between Chinese and American? Chinese first will consider group interest first, after that is taken care of then they will focus on individual. American is self first.
The Chinese showed true spirit of unity, teamwork and the "Just Do It" attitude to fight on to achieve the goal. Admirable spirit of the Chinese. It's no wonder they progress so fast ahead in everything today. Just amazing.
