Amon Amarth, Skálmöld, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Architects etc would be heavy metal whereas most of this music reminds me of bands like Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Delain, Unleash the Archers and Gloryhammer. Not saying it's bad, just saying what it sounds like to me.
