This rendition of " An Affair to Remember" is just wonderful, the harmonies are just beautiful, I love it , the tune wants to make your heart soar to the skies, I love the sea in the background, the movie is one of my favourite movies of all time it is a timeless classic with two incredible OUTSTANDING Hollywood Iconic Movie stars Mr Cary Grant and Miss Deborah Kerr, I just love the movie and I could watch it over and over again, without offence to anyone they do not make films like this anymore, this movie brings style, class, warmth, a beautiful time and romance rolled into one. thank you for sharing.
Probably my favorite movie of all time! Cary Grant was the most underrated actor and not given credit for his versatility for both comedic and dramatic abilities and nuances and the way he played off of his partners and allowed them to shine in their roles. I watch this movie so many times with my mom that I could say the lines with them and it never got boring or old. I would get goosebumps in anticipation of the music swelled at the bittersweet ending and the look on Cary Grant's face with realization of why she never met him at the top of the Empire State Building. No remake could ever come close to capturing this love affair story or the music that added to the film. Thank you for keeping this alive for future Generations. My mom has now gone on and my son has moved on to other movies and interests but I will keep this Affair to Remember!

I also have seen it more than once and I always reacted in the same way at the Empire State building scene near the end. A Good movie always has a way, sometimes subtle, of tugging at our heart strings and stirring up deep emotions which may have been dormant for many years. I return often to watch the ocean in the above video and hear the beautiful rendition of "An Affair to Remember" because it takes me back also, to better, brighter days to remember LOVE and all that goes with that emotion! I used to run on the beach below my house every morning with my dog, who would bark at those huge white "birds" going across the sky! I live in the mountains two States away now, but I love these videos that take me back to what was my home for about 30 years of my life!

I live in the mountains now but I miss the ocean. As usual, 65Seasons gives us a beautiful presentation of my old stomping grounds! @Hillary Thai I know! I loved the ocean too, lived right by it for 30 years. I also did a lot of diving and loved every minute; only once, was I really scared because I got deeper than I'd planned and I was always afraid of the Bends. But today, I don't know, I was used to seeing nurse sharks on the bottom, but with all the shark-cage diving, they chum for the sharks and feed them, even Scuba divers feeding them on the bottom, and they're TEACHING the sharks to connect humans with food! It's called conditioning, and it's NOT a healthy practice! Sharks don't like the taste of humans but they ARE opportunistic feeders so even if they "test-bite" it can be fatal! But I don't live by the ocean anymore, and I don't dive anymore so I'm not giving the sharks a chance at me! No more, they might like me! (I live in the mountains now.)
My beautiful wife and I had the most wonderful love affair , now sadly just a memory, I play it many times in her memory . I thank God often for the privilege of knowing and sharing my life with such a wonderful person.see you sweetheart in Gods heaven, never again to be parted.

That view at 0:25 reminds me of watching fliers jump off of Montara Mountain and sail way out over the water (if the winds were right) and then come back and land on the beach. My dog would bark at them until they landed and then she would go over to see what it was! Great old memories of a wondrous, long, love affair I had long ago! I did not get to see the movie, it was a bit before my time but I love the song and performed it often in later years. A sad and beautiful movie of promises and misunderstanding... but, at the end love triumphed.
This is my favourite version, glad it has the 100K+ views, deserves them.
