Hi @poky1958 ! Great taste in cars you and your father have! We did end up finding this one a new home but we have similar items in our current inventory. Are you available to call us at 507-386-1726 and ask for Ryan or sales!
Imagine buying a Cadillac from the early 1960s in mint condition and expecting it to have air conditioning. When that was a very expensive and rarely ordered option. And still expensive to install even just the aftermarket kits.
These guys do a really good job buying cars. This one's an absolute doll.
Looks great in that color.
In 1961, most cars did not have air conditioning. In fact, power windows were optional on many cars, but not all. Very different today.
Is that why theres no fan shroud? Not needed without a.c.?
In 1961, most popular priced cars did not have AC, but a majority of Cadillacs did. Not much point to AC in a convertible - still a great car.
Beautiful car, is a master piece.
Marvelous ride!
Just look at the aesthetics of this car.
Awesome. Love it

Why in the hell would anyone want a Caddy that doesn't have Air Conditioning especially for this amount of money?

Back then people thought it was unnecessary to put air conditioning in a convertible.
I live in Texas if I bought a classic Cadillac w/no AC I would have it installed regardless of cost.
