Love the approach with mountains sticking up through the clouds.
Cloud surfing never gets old!!!
Hello Ron - bring the 182 to California!
@@FlyingwithRich
It’s on the list….
Just got back from Boston….
Editing videos now, had a “little” bit of that flying over the foothills…
Look forward to seeing the video.
The Cirrus is probabaly one of the best IFR training platforms available. I love the fly controls. Would Love to try it one day. Im an old Cessna flyer. 1971 150L
lol chino is one heck of a boneyard
Some serious aviation history on the ramp there at Chino
Im glad for you. Enjoy that beautiful piece of engineering. I’ll have mine in 2 years. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Perfect approach Rich
Just love your videos, seen them all, at least once. Looking forward to what's next on Flying with Rich! ! !
Thank you!!
Great video. No unnecessary background music. Love it!
Thanks.
Chino looks like a cool airport, I could just sit on a bench and plane watch. 😃
Great video, great plane. Would love to fly one of those
Thanks - great airplanes.
Another great video mate and nice plane 👍👍
Thank you!
Never flown one w/a side stick, never really heard anyone complain about it. The multi-shape wing is impressive! The whole design is impressive! I just wonder why they never attempted a 'trick' retract system for the gear. I can just about picture an 8 inch pod with folding, trailing link tri-gear, or quad gear?! LOLOL. Thanks Rich, good video, nice unit!! 8) --gary
Great video. Nice airplane as well!
Great scenery with some IMC and then clear on the way back. What a fantastic bunch of planes you taxied past after landing, I’d love to be able to wander around out there for a few hours. Looked like a 1970s style paint scheme on that Duke. Thanks!
Chino a very cool airport to visit - thanks for watching!
Hot start!!!!
This is a nice example with TKS!
Rich, still loving your reviews. Best guy out there!!!
Thank you!
Slickest pilot on TH-cam.
Pure ice.
Rich, you should have stopped in at Adventure Air while you were over there at Chino and said hi to Henry and got a gyroplane ride.
Rich, you need to do a Cirrus video where you pull the chute! 😆😉
Man - I hope not!
@@FlyingwithRich I’m just kidding of course! But if someone actually had that happen and caught it on video would go viral.
Never flown a side stick Rich and because of that I’ll follow along with you
You got this before long mountain Aircraft
Great about this flight is VFR on Top
Great video Rich. Do you have access to a DA40? Love to see a flight video on it!
Yes. Coming soon!
@@FlyingwithRich Great! Looking forward to hearing your opinion of that aircraft.
Hi Rich, thanks, I enjoyed the content. Question: Why (if you know) do aircraft engines cough and stutter (10:53) on start where automobile engines do not. I solo'd 8/3/75 and have had at least a private since 8/3/76. And it hasn't changed. Starting a hot fuel injected aircraft engine is/was an opera with the mixture lever.
It’s sad but I guess the result of very small market compared to cars and higher costs for certification for aircraft.
@@FlyingwithRich This is a decent explanation of aircraft engines and failures th-cam.com/video/mwpzTnLC8BY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AVweb
Great looking plane, but why did the original motor crap out at 1300 hours? The whole side stick thing just seems really funny, how hard is it to learn, the transition from a traditional plane to say Cessns 182 to fly something like this with the side stick? No "RPMz" today! 😂
Easy to learn side stick - I don’t know on early engine overhaul - not that uncommon. Thanks for watching!
No hate but I never understand what the need is to have the mic so close to your mouth haha it actually sounds worse and just looks like you have it in your mouth or are trying to swallow it lol Nice video though! Love the Cirrus!
If I move it further away it cuts in and out and then people get frustrated that the audio isn’t good. I don’t like the mic that close either!
Do you have a favorite single engine plane you like to fly?
If I had to have one single engine airplane, probably a Cessna 185.
You know, unless I hit the lottery, I'm not going to be buying an airplane, but the guy in the right seat with the camera? Might love his job. Get paid to fly with Rich and take video? That can't be a bad gig!
