Well, I want to write epic fantasy like the Wheel of Time, anything by Brandon Sanderson, but I find myself having an easier time writing nonfiction. Ugh. I guess I'll write nonfiction that will hopefully sell enough to pay the bills and then dive into my true love of an epic fantasy series.
You can write fantasy/fiction that sells. But you'll want to incorporate high volume/low competition kws into your title, subtitle, or description. You'll also want to start with high-concept ideas as discussed in the video. I hope that helps.
