    Thank you so much for this interview. Angelika is such a good story teller, and her knowledge about Shanghai and the world during this time period is outstanding. It was all so interesting. She had excellent parents indeed. I’ve watched many of the interviews from the 1990's and a few of these more recent ones done in 2023 or 2024. I miss the details about their lives after the war, how they met their spouse, how they ended up living in their new location, their children, and the pictures. Most of the time the older interviews included all this, but the new ones that I’ve watched do not. I’m hoping this message will be passed along so that those in charge of the tapings will start including that information again. Also, I hope Angelika knows that her interview is now available on TH-cam, and just popped up for me today. Many, many thanks to her and the others involved in this important work.

    What an incredible story. WW II really reached people everywhere in this world. An impressive account also on mixed religion couples under the Nazis. So touching. Amazing video. ❤

      That’s harsh. An understandable question, I’d say. The lady doesn’t have to respond if she doesn’t want to.
