Lovely performance and that guitar has just the right tone for the song.
What a beautiful guitar/ vocal performance - you have to play in England! There are so many folk clubs that you'd light up 👏
Amazing performance my dear friend
This is so beautiful! Thanks for posting!!
Great performance! The birds with a brief cameo made it all the better!
Beautiful song and performance
Always exellent, always and allways.... (And thanks to the little birds too...)
I've listened to this countless times over the weekend...
Gorgeous song, arrangement and performance ! :-)
You have a beautiful voice Lindsay. 🎹 👍
Lindsay - your performances just keep getting better and better. Lovely!
Excellent as always. Brought back memories of my dad playing a slow claw hammer version of House Carpenter when young. Made me smile...... Thank you......
@@LindsayStraw i suppose Clifton Hicks would be the only one who would do a truly traditional version. I use to have a ton of cassette recordings of playing at different times and places, that i cannot find. But they're in my head still .....
Lovely
Wonderful! Beautifully arranged. Thank you for sharing.
Very beautiful...Jeff
Clicked on this on a whim having no idea who you were--and I have to say, that was *probably* the best decision I've made tonight. (Got to be the video's 100th Like, too, so there's that.) Going to check out the rest of your music now...
Beautifully sung and played! Interesting tuning, too, working well with the capo placement - just figuring it out! :) Subscribed!
such a lovely song :)
Thought I already commented on this sweet rendition. Thank you. To get the birds to sing like that here, I 'd need to get out there about 4 AM.
Love it Lindsay 😮
Very nice!!
Wonderful ❤❤❤
Beautiful ♫♥♫
Beautiful performance
Wow, that was absolutely beautiful!
❤
The birds like it, too!
Tasty song
Pretty sweet, where do you find the songs? Do you have certain artist you like? Or is it just popular tunes?
It's a mix! There are definitely some folks whose repertoire I really like and will sometimes draw from, plus there are some great collections of old field recordings and source singers that I'll dig into on occasion. This one actually came from a book and I took a pretty heavy editing hand to it, though.
