Beautiful, how do you get it so smooth, when I apply the mod podge over it, it wrinkles again.
Brush up enough mod podge when adhering the napkin. Then use plastic wrap on top to press in the napkin to smooth out wrinkles.
You do need to seal these after your mod podge has completely dried, otherwise they stick together if they get hot.
I sealed it with the 2 layer of varnish
Can you use crackle glaze on this ?
I havent try , but you can. thanks
Do you take the back layer off the napkins x
Yes, I only used the top layer of napkin.bottom ply I take it away
Is it water resisstant? And what is the texture like after its completely dried?
yes, its water resistant, but should be just wipe with damp cloth when cleaning. its smooth after it dries because of the varnish.
Will that hold up the heat of a hot coffee cup?
yes, but you may need to apply resin or Polyurethane sealant to keep protected and be use for a longer time.thanks
