KINGDOM OF ASTURIAS is a theme inspired by the most important conflict that occurred in the Iberian peninsula during a period of seven centuries. In the fight between the ancient Visigothic kings and their people against the great Muslim enemy who quickly conquered so much territory.

It is true that the Reconquest was the beginning that would lead to the unification of several kingdoms. The birth of Spain as a nation would be 1480, when the Catholic Monarchs convened Cortes in Toledo and the union of Castile and Aragon was certified in writing, to which Navarre would join in 1512.
Portugal also became part of Spain for a few decades, between 1580 and 1640, at which time the entire Iberian Peninsula was politically unified. This fact has not occurred since the time of the Visigoths.
Although there are discrepancies with the date of the Spanish unification. Some historians say 1469 with the marriage of the Catholic Monarchs, others say 1480 and others 1492 after the conquest of Granada and religious unification throughout the peninsula.

Some say the year of Spain's foundation was either the marriage of the Catholic Monarchs,the ascension of Charles V or the ascension of Philip V.

Sin ser aguafiestas, Asturias nunca ha sido una nación Celta. Realmente es cierto que posee una relación cultural con el resto la fachada norte de la península ibérica y el arco atlántico, pero esa relación es previa cultural y materialmente a la llegada de los indoeuropeos, que insisto, no alcanzaron a dominar, como celtas, el actual territorio asturiano.
Los astures, galaicos (excluyendo ártabros) y cántabros a los que se asocia normalmente la "celticidad" eran pueblos pre-célticos que para el caso ibérico, habían llegado con anterioridad a los celtas que si alcanzaron las tierras aragonesas, de la Castilla oriental y Badajoz (y en menor medida la localidad gallega de Coruña y las cercanías del estrecho de Gibraltar).
Realmente lo que define Asturias es su latinidad y fe católica (al uso romano) adaptada a las particularidades locales que los pueblos asimilados por Roma ya poseían con anterioridad.
PD: Por no dejar espacio a la duda. Los britones que alcanzaron algunas localidades asturianas en el altomedievo y que si eran celtas: eran escasos; en buena medida ya estaban latinizados y no reflejan la realidad del pueblo asturiano nativo. Igual que los sefarditas del Oviedo bajomedieval no podían reflejar el carácter judío de la capital asturiana, al ser minoría.

The association is curious but it is perfectly possible, since the music of ancient Europe is linked between the different peoples, since many times both the scales and the instruments were transmitted, suffering these small modifications in their own evolution. In this case I wanted to show the Asturian and Galician musical tradition. The instruments used are bagpipe, hurdy-gurdy, lute, recorder, various percussions,... I hope it was quite entertaining to listen to. A big hug!

Spaniards descend from greeks and romans as well as the visigoths who lived near thracians and dacians at one point and likely assimilated many of them into visigothic culture and its speculated that a good amount of dacians/thracians along with slavs , romans slaves , gallic romans and huns joined the visigoths on their march to spain .. the visigoths were a hybrid culture and even more peoples came from the reconquista spaniards brought christians from france and england , normans , italians , germans to settle in spain as they needed more warriors and settlers and christian colonizers for the newly conquered lands
