I think when you get to this size of LEGO sets it is time to call in back up. Maybe get the kids and possibly even the wife to help. If it get even bigger that that then you call in the family pet, even though Rex doesn't have thumbs.

Surprisingly not too long. I think I spent about 6 hours on Wed, 6 on Thursday, and a couple hours with the kids on the last couple bags.
