I wonder if the truck drivers were to after a stone gets Caught under the tail gate lower the bed then put truck drive and then push the break hard to dislodge the stone.

For you guy's in the future who get rock's stuck in the bed like that, lower your bed, move the truck forward stop quickly, that may work, not 100%, but you will get it.
