Thanks just joined your channel. I am currently waiting on a decision regarding a claim submitted in August. I’m retired from the Army after 30 years. Deployed several times to Iraq and Afghanistan. In 1982 I sustained a fracture of T3 in a parachute jump(ROFTU 82). Currently at 70% but my back and lung issues are pending. Look forward to working with your group

Great Video, I fought the VA for 12 years, I am 100 P&T, Never give up the fight, and keep on getting your medical evidence and file those claims, and file them complete and use that evidence in your favour. again Great explanations of what 100 percent is.

That's what happened to me. I received a 20% disability for a broken neck at the C3-C4 vertebrae in 1975 and suffered for 40 years until I broke my neck again at the C5-C6 vertebra. The VA finally took a closer look and found L5 was crushed and shoulder and other problems. They reevaluated me in 2015 and upgraded me to 100% P&T.

I am a homeless 70% Unemployable (TDIU) veteran who couldn't find a place to buy or rent in the insane housing market. I found an apartment/office for rent. To rent and keep the space I must form an LLC, acquire a FEIN number, department of revenue Tax ID, permit, etc. Won't make a dime, pretend like I am doing business. Some say if I acquire a FEIN number I will automatically lose my TDIU because the VA will deem me gainfully employed. Some say I can acquire my FEIN I will not lose my TDIU if I make less than the poverty threshold. I am confused.....

Maybe one day you will realize that you are using circular reasoning and double-think to credit your God for man-made situations and circumstanaces that happen in your favor based on a book written by other men and not your God; whilst ignoring, dismissing or religiously rationalizing the negative things that simultaneously happen to you and others around the world as you celebrate your God. Like I said, why not simply thank the VA rep in charge who approved your claim, because had they not, you would have had to conjure another rationlization to justify how your God was still envolved with and working on your VA claim.

11 yrs I took on the VA by myself, 3 to get 10% and 8 to get that to 70% currently. Two months ago I got a lawyer that charges a percent of back pay they get me and said they'd have me up 100% P&T or TDIU 100%. That means it may take up to a yr because intent to file only lasts 12 months but every month in back pay I'll be getting at least a grand after the lawyer takes their 20% and my income will more than double going from 70-100% too. I just couldn't do it myself anymore with the stress it caused. Now if they contact me about it I can tell them to call my lawyer and quit contacting me unless it's for a medical reason only and hang up.

I am an army veteran with a service connected disability at 100% P&T effective January 2006, which was how far VA would pay me for. In spite of the fact that the army diagnosed me with a disability in September of 1978. Which I should have gotten out of the army with a medical discharge instead! During the 1970s, that army was trying to recruit and keep Black people and white women in the army. That's why I believe the army was not forthcoming to me about my disability and ignored my diagnosis!
But, my point is, when VA finally approved me for VA benefits in late 2007 or early 2008, VA told me that because of my disability, I qualified for social security. I also applied for social security when I applied for VA benefits in 2006 when I found out that I qualified for benefits because of my army disability diagnosis. When I told social that I had began receiving VA benefits in 2008, social security told me that because of the benefits that I receive from VA, I do not qualify for social security other than retirement as early as age 62.
The above video mentioned that if a veteran have a P&T disability, then they qualify for social security. I have applied several times and have appealed social security decisions. Yet since 2008 social security have continue to claim that I do not qualify for any social security other than retirement because of my VA benefits. What I receive for social security retirement was a not worth applying for because of my work history due to my disability.
I keep hearing and reading about veteran at 100% P&T are also receiving thousands of dollars a month for social security. But, social security is telling me that I do not qualify for social security disability because my benefits from VA is too high.

    • @ChampionsForVeterans

Hey, you can get ssdi even while you receive va benifits if you qualify. If you have enough working credits and become disabled where you cannot work anymore then you can apply for it. There is a 5 year window from the time you became too disabled to work and when you apply for benefits. I'm total and permanent va and ssdi. Don't listen to who ever told you that. You can apply on line. It's kind of a pain in the azz to fill all the paper work out but worth it in the end. If they deny you, appeal it and don't let the claim die or else you won't be able to get all that back pay. I was denied and I won on my appeal. Good luck.

3.04 DUAL ELIGIBILITY FOR CHAPTER 35 CHILDREN. On October 8, 2008, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims issued a ruling allowing a person eligible by means of more than one parent with a rating of Permanent and Total (P&T) disabled or who died due to a service connected disability to receive concurrent or consecutive payment of Chapter 35 benefits. Although a dependent child with eligibility from multiple parents may elect to receive concurrent benefits (i.e. twice the full-time monthly rate), the child is still limited to a maximum of 45 or 36 months combined depending upon when chapter 35 was first used. When concurrent benefits are paid, one month of entitlement must be deducted from each entitlement source. A Veterans Claims Examiner (VCE) must manually limit entitlement used on both education records due to current system limitations.
