Even before watching this I knew this was very possible just a few harder boss fights if they are doubled but if geared right it's simple

Essential skill early game for barbarian is Item Find. Put 10 points into it, collect items with magic find (even topaz into armor/helmet) and hope for the best before you arrive at hell.

hahhaha, having done a 10x density HC barb run before, I think it took me a couple months of painstaking grinding. You prolly don't have the luxury of going through a single run for over a hundred hours. Maybe do a necro run on higher density? Corpse explosion is so awesome.
I am actually going for a run that should take about 200 hours currently. But it requires a lot of runs to have been recorded in advance so I have stuff to keep posting while working on it. This took me about 30 hours to record.

Excellent stuff:) could never have completed that in a million years so congrats! I posted a challenge idea on one of 'Looters' videos. You have to complete the game whilst only allowed to use gear that was farmed in Act One normal (so Rakanishu/Bishbosh/Andariel/Countess) and normal cows for example. You can always add it to the list:)

A bit late now, but regular leap has knockback on it, and now travels the same speed and distance as leap attack unlike in OG D2

I never even bothered with the storymode except for checking out the movie references by using cheats and just on it's multiplayer it was one of the best games I've ever played

awesome video as alwyas, fun to watch. Just one thing that as hardcore player of d2 for years that annoyed me is why u use leap attack instead of leap to move trough herds of monsters? (specially on durance with dolls omfg). I know that leap has a shorter distance of jump than leap attack, butleap knocksback enemies qhen u land, giving u more time to leap again or run. Just use leap attack to reach long distances (since leap attack doesnt have distance restriction). Also if u get amped right before u jump with leap attack in the middle of a dolls herd, when u land u could hit a doll and if ur health wasnt at max or ur bo ran off, u are a dead barb :) ty for ur videos i love ur content, keep it going plz!

I wanted to apologize for not replying to our chain of messages on your previous video. I was able to visit my father in a distant city, as well as my great aunt who lives in a town called Banff, located in the Rocky Mountains. I'd suggest you look up some pictures... The area is breathtaking.
I did want to highlight one thing from our previous chat, and that is in regard to how your runs are becoming "blurred".
I can definitely see how and why that is happening. I hope it doesn't deter you from more Diablo challenges. Hell, it may mean that you might have to be more creative in your challenges (I say, selfishly, not wanting you to stop uploading D2 content, lol). I enjoy the stance you take vs. teleport staves. To be fair, once I discovered that trick from TH-cam content creators, I felt as if it changed each character... for the worse. I'd be lying if I said I never used them, but I feel you on how they change the game.
Anyways, Rabbit! Take care of yourself, keep pumping out the content :)

No it's not keeping me from doing them at all. I've been brainstorming other stuff to do and bigger challenges that should push me harder. I don't have a stance persé against tp staffs. I just don't care for them. If other people use them I'm ok I don't care enough haha.

I know you're an expert hardcore player, BUT then you go and do the whole thing without using LEAP??? What the??
Using leap knocks back all the mobs, especially when you have a bow merc. For dolls, you can just leap on the spot, pushes all the dolls away from you and your merc just shoots them.
Then travelling with leap attack looked really nooby when you could have travelled with leap... ouch.
Then you also had howl available, both leap and howl would have saved you from most of those dicey "save and exit" moments. Like in the arcane sanc with the phys immune ghosts, you just stand and leap on the spot for 20 seconds and all the ghosts are pushed back half a screen away from you.
Anyway you are really funny, even if you have no clue how to play a hardcore barb lol. 👍👍👍👍😁
That would involve me putting more points into leap and howl. Which doesn't work well with whirlwinding at all.

@@thenuclearrabbit yeah I get that. But you already had a point in leap, and a shako and maybe a couple more +skills items (even in on weap switch).
Putting a few more points into leap would have lost you maybe 4 points from your whirlwind but that is no significant tactical difference to how hard you hit, BUT having a 8 (or more) point leap would have been game changing in controlling the battlefield. Especially with crowded battelfield.

It's interesting seeing you do a run on PC. Is this something you're going to continue doing? I thought you normally played on console
I prefer playing on console because it is much easier on my wrists and fingers. However I can't use mods on the playstation and using a controller on pc just feels wrong
leap + howl would have made this a bit easier

I did this on the same mod as the druid. So both should be double. Oh man multiple people have said this and now I'm really thinking if I did quadruple by accident

As someone who played since launch..bowazon and WW barb not being the quintessential top builds of their class feels gross..When I came back after legit finding a windy after a multi year break I literally paid an ungodly amount to make a BiS all 40/15ed out ..fanaticism A1 bow merc.. only to literally do damage output of a perfectly geared nightmare Javazon basically like WTF…if I wanna spam multi arrow and not think that’s my business. They should just let you play single player with any era patch you want without all the hassle..
Frenzy is the worst barb build now. A mix of throw/frenzy/ww is the top tier now.

A barb can easily do 10x density, try with a sorc, that's a different story.
