    With the plus 2 extension and the plastic plunger removed the capacity is actually 7 in the tube with 2.75 inch shells

    I have shot an M4 before and was going to buy one recently. After hearing about the Beretta 1301 tac i ended up buying one in OD green. It's like an M4 but better. Super happy with this awesome shotgun.

    Not jelly of your Benelli. 1301 Tac is an unparalleled shotgun!

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eh, I wouldn’t go that far. The 1301 is leaps and bounds better than 99% of all other shotguns. I put it equal to or a tad better than the M2 competition. But both of these can’t compare to the M4 when it comes to shooting 3” Magnum loads. Load up 5 rounds in an M4 and the 1301 and shoot them side by side. I have. I bought the M4. But I will get the 1301 next. It is a beautiful shotgun and the new Gen 2s have fixed the problem of dumping rounds under the bolt when hitting the bolt release by accident. Home defense, I take the M4. Competition I’d take the 1301. But I’d have no problem with the 1301 for home defense either if I’m being honest.

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hewer3383 True. But they are not made by Beretta. Beretta is just the parent company.

    • @225degrees
      @225degrees 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Kornholeeoo The M4 is 2 pounds heavier and nearly twice the price. It does nothing better than the 1301. 3" magnum loads are unnecessary and far from the most common load selected or used.
      There was/is no issue with the gen 1 bolt release. There's no reason to be touching the bolt release after loading the chamber. Bumping the back of the bolt release hard enough to eject shells from the tube is all but impossible.

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@225degrees But if you’re shooting 3” mags, the M4 is the way to go. I agree with you on most of this but accidentally hitting the bolt release is something serious to worry about. Just because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it won’t in a combat situation. And it has happened. Glad they fixed it because I still plan on getting a 1301 to add to my others. I have owned 4 Benellis and still have my Ethos and M4. Modded to my taste. But I do like the 1301. Another great home defense gun.

    • @Kornholeeoo
      @Kornholeeoo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@225degrees Everyone has an opinion about what they like, regardless of object proof over decades of military and police use. The 1301 is nice and again, I want one. But there is no denying the object proof of what the M4 has accomplished and it still sits on the top as the best defensive shotgun out today. Time will tell.

  • @markphilpot8734

    The more I see of this shotgun, the more I am convinced it deserves a look. Benelli may have been the only game in town, but this just might prove that wrong. Nothing quite like having another highly reliable shotgun around you can count on. That’s up to each one. You need to at least try it out. This convinced me.

    I know several people who use a tactical style shotgun for hunting, primarily because it's shorter than a standard hunting shotgun, and it's easier to use in the woods. I also know some people who shoot clay pigeons with a short tactical gun, because why not

Remington Versamax Competition Tactical 10 +1, threaded, softest recoiling, no 922r, adjustable stock including comb, drop, and cant, enlarged everything, low, low profile sights, 2,700 + rounds snd not cleaned once.
    2. Gen II Beretta 1301 (LIGHT, EASY TO ABUSE, HAS SOME ISSUES WITH LIGHT LOADS-USE 3 1/4 DRAM WHEN POSSIBLE, THREADED +++).
    3. RIA VR 80 with 10 round mags (GOOD DRY WEIGHT-BALANCES VERY WELL WITH FULL MAG-CYCLES FAIRLY FAST AND ON POINT).

    Here In America we have The second amendment and Shot guns are used alot not only for home Defense but as primary weapons. Both Military and Civilian Some people like me choose a shotgun even for a shit hit fan situation. Due to the fact they are useful in multiple situations. You need to take a 100 yard shot then load a slug but we use Buck for Defense and the military uses it as it's primary round. Americans are very know for the use of shotguns in combat. The US marines have been using the Benelli M4 since 2005. They are not used for breaching as much as Fighting Shotguns are known to put someone down in one shot and slugs are known as a big hunk of fuck you :D. Also we like the 7 shot tubes.
