Great initiative on creating RE:VIEWED! I feel there is very little coverage on updates for games on the Nintendo Switch despite there being alot of interest from the community. I find myself having to scour the net just to know if a game I want to buy, or have bought, has been updated or not. To not mention the specifics of the updates. Hopefully this will also show developers that post launch efforts to improve the their games on the switch are more than welcome and they help breath new life into their games. Hope you feeling better and happy to have you back! keep up the great work!
Thank you for your kind words. I try to revisit games a bit but had them under a "game changer" section of my website. One of my friends suggested I change the name and make it a more frequent series of videos so I'm glad to get feedback about it. Next cab off the rank will be My Time at Sandrock which released in a rather rough condition.
@@whatsitlikeau Happy to hear! I've been waiting for your review on the game! Its been patched up quite significantly and seems to be in a better shape, let's hope that the promised performance patch for My Time at Portia is close to releasing too!
Just got it for 1.99 and im honestly happy with the purchase. Still janky but for the price its fun. Edit: sorry got it bundled with two other decent indie games for $1.99
Good video on the update. I was shocked by how appealing the release version was and I knew it wouldn't be fixed properly, since I have other RDG games that have major issues including game breaking bugs and they've not been fixed despite false promises. I'm surprised they dropped this patch tbh, even if it makes little difference
Did you end up reviewing it too? If so, what score did you give it? It's a shame to hear the Red Deer have a history of this. It's an abysmal port, and they told many outlets that this patch was coming in the first few days of release.
@@whatsitlikeau I gave it a four, I believe. I've heard those promises before, which is why I didn't take it into account with the review. I did keep an eye on the game in the launch month for a patch, but then I just uninstalled it!
@@RichtersShadow Yeah, I saw a few videos accompanied with Press Releases that got covered by others. I was so angry that it went to 50% off 3 days after launch too. Very disappointing
Not to rub salt in the wound, I was able to get it for $5 U.S. but I still wouldn't recommend it for that price, for all the reasons stated. You also can't change the controller settings. Wish I knew Red Deers reputation before I brought.
Currently stuck on a game breaking glitch where theres a half sunken building block blocking the objectives on nazskul or whatever its called. Atrocious.
@@whatsitlikeau thing is, when i pay for something, I expect it to at least work. It doesn’t have to work well, but i should at least be able to progress through the damn thing. This is an embarrassing and shameful attempt at trying to do the Warhammer IP any sort of justice.
I read some good ish reviews. I picked it up 90% off. I had low expectations. I liked Red Wings: American Aces. For what it was. I still feel ripped off.
Deflector is worth more than $2. I already own deflector and syndrome and am watching this to see if this is worth $2. I'm on the fence still probably not

I just got this game in a bundle with deflector and syndrome for 1.99 US dollars…I can’t complain, does look like ps1 or n64
I'm glad you're enjoying it. I couldn't get into it at all on launch.
@@whatsitlikeau I need to give it more time…only got thru the tutorial so far
Just did the same. Figured for 2 bucks, can't hurt, plus Deflector looks interesting enough lol

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I couldn't look past a lot of the issues on launch and it ruined it for me.

You just saved me some money and memory space. Thanks!

It's very unfortunate given the potential of the franchise
here's more salt. it's $1.99 right now. 96% off.

It's such a shame it's still in a state after this update. I would say the game will be left to die from here unfortunately

I honestly think they had 0 faith in the product and sent it out to die

I'm stuck there too 😢😢 was having fun but now I'm so upset... :/
Did you were able to complete the mission? Or you uninstalled the game?

Yeah from what I can gather its quite decent on PC... completely broken on Switch.
There is a horrible bug in the final boss that lags and crashes the game.
I couldn't even get that far with some of the bugs in my initial review. The update did nothing really except blur the textures a bit.
Is it worth $2 with deflector in a bundle on switch?
Probably at that price it might give you an hour of fun? Replaying it after my original review for footage and testing was painful in my experience.
Deflector is worth more than $2. I already own deflector and syndrome and am watching this to see if this is worth $2. I'm on the fence still probably not
I mean for $2 it might entertain you for 30 minutes, and reviews are subjective, so it always pays to take a look if the risk/reward is worth it.
I can sell you a box with a guarantee on the side but your just buying the guarantee
